Deluxe evening hours around holiday time

Hey everyone!

We (me, my wife and our two boys who will be 5 and 2 when we travel!) are visiting in November and I'm guessing there may not be a definite answer to this question yet, but I figured I'd check to see if anyone's able to provide any insight. We're staying for 9 nights and one of the things we're trying to decide is whether to attend MVMCP during our trip. We'll be staying in the GFV so we'll have the deluxe evening hour option for whichever parks are on offer during that time. And that brings me to my question. I know the MK deluxe evening hours went away during the holiday time last year and I believe I recall them being held at Animal Kingdom instead during that window. Do folks anticipate that being the case this year again?

I believe there was only one day per month that was at AK, the rest of the time it was Epcot on Monday and Wednesday. I’d recommend the holiday parties, did both last year and they were a lot of fun

I think for parties it depends on your kids. My 2 yo grandson gets up early and goes to bed at 7:30. Even when my youngest was 5 she didn't make it too far into the party before she melted down. The general consensus is that the MK is less crowded on party days because it closes early.

They changed it up last year because of jollywood nights. Some were on Thursday instead of Wednesday. Epcots got switched with AK once. There was no real pattern. I’m trying to plan my trip too for December, but we won’t know for sure until about 9-10 weeks out when they post the official calendar.

Good question. I’m wondering the same thing so thanks for posting the question. In my case it affects both when I visit and where I stay.

I'm not going to guess what they'll do this year. 2023 was unlike 2022.

I'm trying to guess deluxe hours too. Last December they were at Epcot on Thursdays because Jollywood were on Wednesdays. Jollywood is on Monday and Saturday the week we are there so I'm hoping Epcot deluxe hours is on Wednesday! We will be at Christmas party on Thursday.

I have no patience to just wait for posted hours.

With all the big changes WDW made this year (LL, DAS, waterpark bonus, etc) I’ve become more optimistic they won’t try to pull Epcot only EEH again. We’ll see when the schedule comes out… Last year the schedule up to mid-Nov was released Sept 5, and the rest of 2023 was released Oct 16.

We arrive Nov 16th. Last year they only released to Nov 15 on Sept 5, then 6 weeks later did the rest of the year Gah!

I mostly want to see the park at night. And the times of those "late " hours are perfect for us.

Was there last December for EEH at Animal Kingdom. The tree of life show did play multiple times and it was the holiday version. FOP was nuts at the start of EEH. Still like a 2 hour wait from those that were in line as of park close.
