okay... I am confused! COuld it be I am on Disney overload at this point???:confused3

We are arriving june 12th. We depart June 19th. We are on the deluxe dining plan.

HOW MANY CREDITS DO WE HAVE PER PERSON???:scared1:

I am coming up with 21 per person...Does that sound right? And if it is, apparently all we are going to do is eat!!:rotfl2:

If you arrive on the 12th and check out on the 19th (not staying that night), that is 7 nights x 3 credits/night = 21 credits per person.

Unless you are going to eat at some of the shows or nicer places that take 2 credits, I would say down size the deluxe. The regular plan with 1 sitdown, snack & tray service a day is more then enough. On the Deluxe, you'll be eatting half the day!Too much time wasted. I just checked you & your kids ages. If you can I would definitly switch. They are going to want to ride and play. Not sit and eat all day.

I hope you have ADRs set up for all that dining. Otherwise, you'll be wasting a whole lot of credits.

I tend to agree with this. We have had QSDP and reguar dining plan, and both were fine. While I would love to try the deluxe dining plan someday, I think it may be suited better to a trip when I am just traveling with DH or when all our children are older. We very much enjoyed the regular dining plan when we were there a few weeks ago, but I think it would take too much time away from our touring, going to the pool, or otherwise relaxing to have two table service meals per day. Just my opinion. Your kids may enjoy the experience. Every family is different.

Enjoy! :)

I use the deluxe plan and I LOVE it. It is like being on a cruise - you can eat when and where you want (most places.) Make ADRs as soon as you can. I do lots of 2 credt meals - and I took most of my snacks home.

Tell me about it! We are going for 10 nights and as one of my threads says - I have run out of restaurants! We are going to do the luau and the Hoop Dee Doo, plus we are going to do CRT, California Grill, Le Cellier and Brown Derby all of which are 2 tixs so that helps.

We did the DDP once and loved it but with all the shows and signature restaurants we thought we would try DxDP. My plan is book 2 TS meals and do CS if we are hungry for a 3rd meal :goodvibes

We did deluxe in December, we loved that we got to try so many new places, but it is a LOT of food, and a lot of time spent in TS restaurants. I would love to do deluxe again, but if I do, I am booking signature restaurants for dinner every night, that way I only have 2 meal times per day, and can use snack credits for breakfast or for light lunch items. NEVER again am I doing all 1 TS credit restaurants! I like the standard DDP, but wish it had 2 snack credits per day instead of one, and that it included the mugs, they are really handy if you are eating any meals at the hotel or spending much time there.

Yes, all of our ressies are made. But we have one credit left! That's why I thought I was miscalculating!

We have way too many ressies to go with the regular. I'm not sure I'm going to like spending that much time in restaurants, but the girls are determined to meet ALL the characters (esp. princesses) so I figured better in the air conditioning than standing in lines in the June heat all over the parks!! :rotfl2:

Thanks for all the advice!

I dont know where you are staying but if you are staying at a deluxe you might consider room service. Room service is 2 points but on check out morning I ordered two breakfasts and it was really plenty for the four of us.

We are staying at CSR (a mod) can we do room service there?

Or didnt I read somewhere that you could order pizza for credits? Maybe we'll do that by the pool one afternoon...

You can pick up a pizza at Cafe Rix or the Pepper Market for a CS credit rather than get it delivered. Last two times in the PM I was allowed to get a large pizza with a drink and a dessert for just 1 adult CS credit instead of just the small individual one. That's what we did, took it to go and ate at the pool. Your milage may vary of course......
