Deluxe Dining Question

I've looked at the sticky thread above but I keep getting sidetracked and just need a direct answer.

How exactly does the Deluxe Dining Plan work? Let's say 2 people are staying 9 nights. Does that mean you get 9 breakfasts - either TS or CS - your choice? Same with lunch - all your choice? Same with dinner? Or is it like the Dining Plan where you get 9 CS and 9 TS?

For the sake of an easy answer I'm leaving out options like Character Meals (since they are TS) and Signature Dining options.

With the Deluxe Dining Plan is it your choice how to use the meals?

The brochure on the WDW website just says that you get 3 meals per day.

Each person gets 3 Meals. You can use them however you want. TS, CS, etc. So pretty much what it comes down to is that you each get 27 credits for the 9 nights you're staying. So since there are 2 of you, that's a total of 54.

You can use them for Character Meals, TS, CS, Luau, etc.

If you want to do ALL TS meals, you can.

You each also get 2 snacks per day, and you each get 1 Resort Mug per stay.

Thank you. That is what I thought but I figured I better check to make sure. That just seemed too easy compared to the other dining plan.

I'm ready for those snack credits! I'm getting a Dole Whip, caramel cups and peanut butter cups. Some of the cups are coming home with me of course!

We have decided to go with the Deluxe for our Honeymoon because this was our understanding but I wanted to make certain to make sure we are planning correctly.
