Deluxe Dining Plan and Toddlers

So my husband and I are looking into booking the deluxe dining plan. We have a two year old and a 4 year old. Since our two year old is too young for the dining plan we were thinking about getting the deluxe plan so that we can use some of the table service credits for my 2 year old. Is that allowed. I cannot find any info about sharing credits with your younger children.

we have lots of character meals planned.

The character meals are buffets so he wouldn't need to use a credit.
Cost-wise I don't think it would make sense for other non-buffet meals.

Well the 2 yr old can eat "off your plate" at any buffet or all-you-care-to eat place without paying in any form, so if most of your TS are character meals, you won't need credits for them.

I'm not sure the expense of the DxDDP is warranted. It will be much cheaper just to buy them their own meal where needed. At QS, you can get 3 adult meals to share among the 4 of you.

Sorry I don't think my question was specific enough. So my two year old has some severe allergies and I will be ordering her full meals at table service restaurants. Is it possible to share the credits between the 4 of us?

Yes you can, but if you're doing character buffets, you still won't have to pay for her. If you can tell us where you're planning on eating, that would help us help you better.

We're doing the DxDP with our 2 year old. We plan 6 character meals and a lot of other TS including signature meals. As other have mentioned, anything that it a buffet or eat all you can, he is free. At other TS, with the amount of food, I feel that would make it very easy to share with our two year old. I think if you have decided it works for your family, go for it!
