Deluxe Digs, Delish Dining, & DISers:A Perfectly Pampered Trip for 2(Upt:8/12 pg.42)

What a wonderful update!

I am so glad you took Heather to see American Adventure, everyone needs to see that!

Your fish n' chips looks so good. I don't know what I'm going to get in January but they are a contender for sure! :lovestruc

The final song, Golden Dream, gives me goosebumps and I always walk out very proud to be an American!!! As we exited we said goodbye to Heather and then C and I decided to head over to Rose and Crown and check in for dinner!!

Belle was very charming and we really enjoyed saying hello!!!!!
.

I love Golden Dream, too. Such a pretty song.

We've always had the sweetest Belle CM's, too. Maybe they can see that Brooklynn adores Belle as she is walking up to them, but every one we have ever had pictures with has just been especially gentle and so attentive.

The newspaper wrap is no less than what I would expect for Disney. :thumbsup2
Cute touch.

Thank you for the wonderful update! I have a reservation at R&C for May. Now that I am arriving a day earlier I changed some reservations at the end of our trip. I don't know if that makes sense! I am curious to try their roast with Yorkshire pudding. It is my favorite meal at my parents and I beg my Mother all the time for it :rolleyes1 I asked for it on Thanksgiving, didn't happen.
Congratulations and an early Welcome Home for the DVC news. Wherever you end up you will love being an owner. :lovestruc Very excited for you and can't wait for your decision as to where you will buy. :cutie:

From Wikipedia...

Yorkshire pudding is a dish that originated in Yorkshire, England, and has attained wide popularity. It is made from batter and most often served with roast beef, chicken, or any meal in which there is gravy.

Yorkshire pudding is cooked by pouring a thin batter made from flour, butter, milk and seasoning into a preheated greased baking tin containing very hot fat or oil and baking at very high heat until it has risen and browned. It is then served in slices or quarters, depending on the size of the tray in which it was cooked.

In recent years, it has become more popular to cook them in batches in bun tins (baked in muffin trays or baking tins like Popovers), making individual mini puddings.

My mom makes it with the drippings from her roast. Oh so yummy! Jen, I will take a picture for you at Christmas!

Your dinner at Rose and Crown looks fantastic! Sounds like a great (albeit a tad wet) evening.

Oh, man... the whole incident with deleting and not knowing your room # is SO something I would do! LOL and my hair isn't blonde enough to use that as an excuse! Saratoga is a very nice resort, love the simple elegance of it- nice to have a car with you though b/c it is very large!

Instead of a picture can you just send me some LOL!!!! Sounds really really good...I'll get the Fish and Chips and you get the yorkshire pudding and let me try a bit LOL!!!

Another reminder of why I want to eat at Rose and Crown!

Yes I highly recommend you and your crew would love it!!!

Your dinner at Rose and Crown looks fantastic! Sounds like a great (albeit a tad wet) evening.

It did end up a little wet but the day itself was amazing and I really really enjoyed it!!!

WOW great update Jen!
1- You look MAHvelous! (Said like Billy Crystal on SNL - yes I'm that old)
2- My DD8 has a VB in that same pattern - a bit smaller though
3- Yay for you going DVC! I can't wait to hear what/where/how many points you decide on
4- You're really making me think hard about trying R&C someday. It never appealed to me before.
5- LL - So yorkshire pudding is not a dessert? Interesting.
6- Funny about deleting the text. I do stuff like that a lot because my iPhone is so senstive and I often hit the wrong "button".
7- sounds like you and C and Heather had a lot of fun. How nice!

We have Yorkshire Pudding & Roast at Christmas every year and sometimes if we beg nicely my Mom will make it for our birthdays. It's so YUMMY.

:goodvibes A lot of people don't know what it is....that's okay...more for me!
It is like some kind of ritual cooking it...has to be whole milk...drippings from the roast, etc...I have never cooked it but I swear I could eat the whole thing....She does it in a cast iron pan just like my Nana used to. I also used to get yelled at because I would open the oven door to look at it and it was possible that it would fall and not be all poofy! :) I slather mine with gravy and butter and ooohhhh it's so good!

Oh and Jen...your points needs will always be higher in regards to DVC!
