Has anyone ever flown delta? How was it any tv or snacks how was the seating? I am flying delta is is part of my disney package

I always fly Delta or Delta Song. I am flying Delta (not Song) for my upcoming trip. They have snacks but no tv's. Song is much better but I couldn't get times or $$ that I was looking for. They have menu's you can order from, they have tv's with all sorts of channels, and movies too but their extra. I found there was so much to do on the Song flight, I never even took out my book to read. You can even play trivia with the other passengers.

When we flew Delta last year from Wash DC to Orlando via Atlanta, some of the legs had inflight entertainment. It consisted of short subjects like news, sports and showing of episodes of popular current TV shows. I believe the program lasted around 2 hours. The legs were not long enough to see the whole thing so you wanted it to a certain point and that was that. It was not at your seat viewing but rather on various (depending on the plane) screens in the cabin. It definitely made the trip go faster, especially the DC/Atlanta leg. If your trip will be an a smaller jet like a MD-80, then I wouldn't count on any inflight entertainment.

BTW, the cost was free. You could purchase a set of cheap headphones to use (and keep) or you could use your own from your CD player etc.

I see that you are from New York, so if you are flying non stop it will be on SONG. Song has tv at each seat, pay per view movies, and food for purchase. Seats have a little extra room. Main line Delta is fine, but no TV and no food. Bottom line is both are run by Delta, with Delta equipment and pilots, you should have a nice flight :cool1:

Snacks on Regular DL are a abag of pretzels. Snacks on Song are pay per snack.

Song has TV, Delta may or may not and they won't be in your seat! So everyone watches the same thing!
