Delta - Warning!

And just as a note you need to be logged in with your SkyMiles # and PIN # to sign up for the flight notifications. (I just signed up for the notifications.)

I also check my itinerary every day. Only 97 more days of daily checking! ;)

Debbie

I just signed up too, but I do not see my flights under my skymile acct, I only see them if I sign in using conf name and #. Did you see anywhere to put in your flight info, you'de think your flights would be there of all places?????

Wondering the same thing. This is our first time flying Delta so I was never signed up for skymiles. After reading this thread I went and signed up, but can't see anything. Does this only show flights you reserve after you sign up for skymiles? What am I doing wrong? :confused3

You have to have a Skymiles acct when you book, otherwise it won't show up. But, once you have that account, it should show all your future itineraries that you have booked while logged in with your skymiles number.

Call Delta, ask them to attach your skymiles number to your flights. Then check again tomorrow. (Sometimes it takes a while to get that processed.) Then when you sign in under your FF# you see the flights.

Thanks for the heads up. I lost seats on 5 sets of flights. The time changes were all okay but one and I got that changed. We have to sit apart on one flight but by then they will probably have changed the plane again. :lmao:

Thanks for the tip -- I just did this today, I would have never known :thumbsup2

Thanks for the thread.......in flying with delta for past 10-12 years, 3-4 times a year, I can remember only one major change (must be lucky). So I have never been in the habit of checking. So guess what I see on the Delta site after reading this thread. New time was 3 hours earlier and next flight too late in the day to get there in time for MNSSHP. Called Delta to request the flight to be switched a day ealier on both ends. Despite the fact that three tickets were skysaver redemption (with only skychoice available on the new days) and the fourth ticket was now $250 more on the new days they changed it with no hassle...... also hats off to DVC member services for going the distance in changing reservations

The PDF file is updated at least quarterly, maybe more often.

However, if your Oct flight has disappeared call them NOW. It probably won't be back

I called Delta and had them re-validate my tickets after the last round of changes.

I did notice something strange - the Indianapolis to Cincinnati segment of our trip has a new flight #. If you look up that flight # on Delta's July 1 schedule it's a Fort Wayne to Atlanta segment. :confused3 And one of my flight #s doesn't appear anywhere on the July 1 schedule (the Orlando to Atlanta segment). :confused3 But these flight #s appear on the intinerary for the tickets that were just re-validated and are indicated as Confirmed. That's why I thought maybe a new Flight Schedule would be released effective October 1st and would reflect my flight # changes.

Debbie

FYI when I first signed in with Skymiles to change to notify, my flights were not there, they did appear the next day tho :)

It just stinks when you arrive so much later than you originally planned. And we all know how we plan on the DIS... I don't usually mind if there are changes in gates or even connections, BUT I hate when my 9:30 am arrival turns into 3:30pm!!

Anyone know if they have sunblock in wipes like they do for wetones and Off?

Ahh, did you want this posted in this particular thread?! Just kinda seems to have come from out of the blue. :teeth:

LOL oppps :lmao: going to edit

:goodvibes Thanks for the warning. I was checking my flights routinely and they have not
changed until now. Just yesterday Delta emailed me the change. No big deal for the flight going to Mco just hour later but the flight back to Boston went from 7pm to 745 pm and both flights the airline numbers changed.

I am new to flying and am now scared and confused. :confused3 Our flights have changed several times with Delta. The most recent really had me in a quandry. We were to change planes in Cinci after leaving MCO. On the new flight change our MCO flight landed at 3:59 and our flight leaving for CRW was at 3:50, nine minutes before we landed. Arg!:crazy:
I somehow knew we were not jumping in mid air to catch the plane leaving, so I called Disney Travel Co. They changed my flight to a later time. I was still a little concered so I called Delta and found out they had to reissue our tickets. Then she advised me that our flight on our day we arrive at Disney may need changed. There is not enought time after we arrive in ATL to catch the next flight to MCO. They wanted to put me on a later flight to arrive at MCO 2 hours later. I told them that was unaceptable. I did not chose that flight the computer did when I made the ressie. Delta then told me that usually the gates are next to eachother and we should be fine. I sure hope so.

This all seems much to confusing for my taste. :scratchin Driving is so much easier. Even if it does take 20hrs. At least I know what time we are leaving and what time we will arrive.

I couldn't handle a connection, I pay extra for non stop. This is still 2 flights they can change, but four is just too much for me

Well we have no choice but to fly with conections. The nearest large airport is over 2 hrs away. This one is only 1hr. The price was accually cheaper than the larger port.
