I would take the one with the better flight/connection. If that were equal...I guess Continental by a coin toss.

Their policies are about the same so I would go with whoever had the better times/connections.

my husband came home last night and i asked him what he has heard about the 2 airlines. we are canadian so typically fly alaska air to florida.

he said delta stands for Dont Expect Luggage To Arrive????

really?

If you have the Delta credit card, you can get free bags.

If you have the Continental Card, 1st bag is free as well

I learned that the hard way. In fact, DS & I cheer every time we see our bags on the carrousel now. Unfortunately, Delta is almost always the cheapest for me, so we'll be taking our chances again next month!

Delta = Dont expect to leave the airport

fortunately , because my flight was delayed/cancelled twice I have enough travel vouchers to fly my family of 4 almost for free :)
Sorry my vote is for continental based on the fact that the customer service I recieved through delta was aweful

It would all depend on flight times, connections, layovers, etc ...

We're also Canadian (Edmonton) and have flown both airlines ... we actually prefer Delta because their flight times are much better for us. We've never had problems with Delta losing our luggage (knock on wood), even with a layover. Our luggage is usually one of the first to arrive on the carousel in Orlando. I'd say 99% of the time our flights have been on-time, with the rare exception of mechanical difficulties maybe twice in all our flights since 2003.
