Delta Shrunk Our Plane...

Well, I think it went to a Delta Connection, but we are limited to what we can take since we are trying to avoid taking the girls out of school. Right now, there are only 4 flights that would work and we are currently scheduled on the "best" option.

The reason I asked is because a change from a "mainline" (Delta) to regional carrier (Delta Connection) is considered a change in carrier by the Department of Transportation. Whenever that happens, it basically gives you the opportunity to switch flights for free. As long as you keep the same origin/destination and date of travel, the airline will switch you to any flight with open seats in your class of service (i.e. economy).

That said, it sounds like you won't want to do that. Just remember that if things change, you should be able to make that switch at any point up until your trip.
