It finally got me in a meaningful way. Booked ATW-MCO Oct. 13-18. Was booked Comfort+ on the way down. My ATW-MSP feeder flight was changed by 10 minutes. Somehow that meant I lost comfort+ on the flight. DL's solution was to change my flight 4+ hours to keep C+. Called to get that fixed and found out my ATL-ATW leg home was canceled. Nothing about that in the my trips section on DL.dumb. I lost my seat next to my colleague, am now way in the back of a 757 and have to add another hour of trip time. Oh well, at least I'm still going and I can deal with everything else.

I had two changes to our Delta plans and one on SW that made us change to Delta. I hate seeing a Delta email now afraid of what might be in it!

edit....And, yup, just had a minor change, but to our advantage on return leg.

DD’s Delta flights for October just changed for the 3rd or 4th time. Her flight to Orlando will still work (though her layover in Detroit is now only 45 minutes), but her flight home is too early for our liking - she had an evening flight & they switched her to an early afternoon flight. Latest flight they offer that will get her back that night is around 3 pm. ☹️ Time to look at other options…

It's always scary to check. I've had two changes so far to my upcoming trip. The last one had us seated separately so I had to adjust that but now we're stuck in front of the divider with no space to slide my smaller carry-on(I hate putting my CPAP in the overhead bin).

I hate to cancel the flight, in case it changes yet again and the flight times improve for us. I can book a refundable ticket on United with Chase rewards, which I think I may do as a back-up, and wait to cancel the Delta flight. I booked the Delta flight with miles, and I'm pretty sure if I cancel, those miles will be refunded. However, I also paid for Comfort+ for one leg of her flight (to put her near the front of the plane to make a tight connection) - does anyone know if the cost of that gets refunded if I cancel due to a schedule change?

My husband, 1 year old and I were booked on a non-stop Boston to MCO. It was cancelled, my husband was put on a flight connecting in Charlotte, my 1yo and I were booked on a flight connecting in ATL with a warning that we would miss our connection! So I was on the phone first thing this morning with Delta. We are now on a non-stop at 7 am (verses noon) and all on the same flight! What a headache!

I could tell the other day they were about to change my flight because the seat selection was locked. The next day I got the notice but it was just 30 minutes. I’m in Atlanta anyway so there’s a flight to MCO every hour. We are booked in Comfort+ too. One of the flights is now completely full in Comfort+ but main is wide open.

If more international flights get cancelled then I would expect to see some upgauging on the route.

According to the T&Cs no you would not be refunded for the upfare. In reality, YMMV. I was told that they would refund mine "As a one time courtesy gesture" when they canceled my flight and I had to re-route. You are correct that if you cancel the flight your miles will be refunded in full.

Thank you. This is helpful. Worse case scenario, I'm out $30 - $40. Though it does seem that they should refund it when they are the ones who changed the flights (or at least give a future credit).

Most of them are changing schedules. United changed theirs. We just checked our flights for Novembers and they changed by 20 minutes.

We have had our flights to DL (1/2022) changed 3 times and our WDW (10/2021) flights changed 3 or maybe 4 times: the most recent change would have led to us being stranded in Atlanta.

One call to the medallion line with a 2 hour hold fixed it but the changes plus hold times are getting old. I know: #firstworldproblems

I called at 0700 ATL time yesterday and was on hold for less than 2 minutes.

I have never heard of them splitting up a group like that, crazy. When they cancelled our n/s from Bos to Mco, we were able to get onto the 7 am flight too. What a great way to start a vacation, waking at 3 am to catch a bus to the airport!

Same! The rep couldn't believe it either, BUT in their defense, I had to book my husband separately because he had a flight credit and my daughter and I did not, but still, we have an unusual last name so it should have been flagged we were all together! No kidding! We were so happy with out 12 noon flight, no need to rush, but we gambled that the 7am would have a smaller chance of being cancelled than the 330, so it is what it is. We are still getting to Florida, we will just be exhausted lol.

We are only numbers in the system these days, sadly. I hope nothing else changes for either of us;)

umm, no. Unless you linked the reservations together, the computer has no idea you're together. And it is a computer doing the reassignment.
