Delta-Price Skyrocketed - Why???

I think the problem is that you are travelling on a code share partner and if you price it out on NW's site then it won't price out. I would do exactly what you said and call them

What I did was to try to get award travel using my NW miles on a DL flight, which is how I booked ours over a month ago. NW gave me the option of choosing our outbound flight and our return flight, but when I chose those two flights to see how many miles it would cost, it came back with an error message that they could not price that particular flight out. I can't imagine that they are overbooked this far out, but they had changed our original outbound flight, and I thought maybe they were getting ready to fool with the schedules again.

The flight I had my eye on for my solo trip in March ( I know, it's a ways away but I like to be prepared.lol) jumped from $257 to $401
I am wishing I jumped on the $257 for that flight as I like to arrive early. I can still get the $257 but won't land until 6pm and the 1st day is already shot then.

Something is up with their fares today. Last week I booked for NYE weekend for $337 from NY to MCO. Now they only show 1 early nonstop flight. I also booked over Easter break for $217. Those flights are only showing first class available for $1203. I'm sure things will change by tomorrow. But I'm very happy that I got those flights booked when I did.

We are leaving Boston March 9th and booked our flights back in April. Through Delta we got them for 257 (281 CAD) which was a steal for us as we normally would pay 600+ from our local Airport (Halifax, NS). As a family of 5 we ended up saving over $3000 by driving to Boston.

Our exact flight from Boston is now 692 CAD! I'm glad I purchased when I did.
