Delta now charging for alcohol

Not a problem for me but might be of interest to some. Delta are now charging for alcoholic drinks on Transatlantic as well as domestic flights. Soft drinks are still unlimited and free. I never drink alcohol on flights anyway, have enough problems with dehyration as it is!!

I think that all the major airlines are charging now. We flew with AA in Feb, and they were, as were North West at Christmas I think. I am fairly sure that US Air do too. Carolyn

yes...US Airways are charging $4 per drink
soft drinks are still free

Add United to the list as well. I think that covers all the major US carriers. Can't say I'm surprised really.
