Delta Mobile Device Check In

Has anyone ever used Delta's option to have your boarding pass sent to your mobile device?

I just found out about this service and wondered if anyone had tried it. I have an iPhone (original) and my hubby has an iPhone 3G. We will be heading to MCO from Detroit on Wednesday and would love to try this option! I did look on their site and both locations are participating in the mobile check in.
