Okay, here's the deal.....DH, DS, DD and myself are heading down to WDW for free dining in August. We have our airfare booked EWR - MCO, good price and all that. We're excited and ready to go.....

Here comes the glitch!

My DSIL is in WDW right now, she took DMIL, DH's aunt (Both in their 70's) and her 2 DS's (14 and 8). Sounds great right? WRONG! MY DSIL didn't do any planning (none of them have ever been there), never asked me anything about the trip. So she went through a travel agent and spent tons and tons of money on this trip (7 day premium hopper passes, when they'll only have 5 park days due to flight times etc... and none of them swim) I guess that's her problem...That sounds very angry, I don't mean to be, it's just that I'm just a huge WDW fan and thinks that every kid deserves to go and enjoy the magic. My DS called his older cousin on Friday morning (1st full day there) at 11:30am to see if they were at the MK and were they having fun? He said they were still at the hotel and were going to go to the MK. DS called again at 2:00 to see if they were having fun, He said that It was hot and the lines were long. DS asked what rides they went on he said none, they were going back to the hotel because Grandma couldn't handle it.

I'm very worried that my DN (8) will be disappointed, he was so excited to go!...His birthday was 6/2 and my DD wanted to give him something disney, so we went through some of our stuff and found those big park maps to all the parks, a brochure that explained fastpass etc.. He loved it, carried it all to school the next couple of weeks. I said to my DH, can we somehow take him back with us in August...Every kid deserves to enjoy WDW!

I don't think I can add another airfare, but maybe we could drive down....

My question is, can we receive a credit from Delta to use on a future flight? I know that we'll have to pay a change fee, but I wasn't sure if they even did that....

Thanks, sorry for my rant...It's just frustrating

Check Delta's website.
The change fee is either $50 or $100 per ticket, plus any difference in airfare.
You have to FLY within one year of the original ticket PURCHASE.
And I believe the credits are non-transferable. Only you can use your credit, only your DH can use his credit, etc.

That is the exact information I would've given :thumbsup2
