Has anyone flown with the Delta Comair connection, especially the smaller regional jets through Cincinnati. Are they okay for families.

I think they are fine for families. There are two seating configurations. One only has one seat on one side of the aisle so you might have to sit in different rows instead of across from each other.

The jets are nice and service is pretty good. Since they are smaller loading and unloading is easy.

In Cinn if you are on a Delta or ASA flight you do have to take a bus to the main terminal.

I'm glad someone asked that question. My husband, who will be joining us later in the day at WDW, is booked on one of those flights out of SYR and through CVG. I'm glad his layover is more than an hour if he has to take a bus to the main terminal.

Bus isn't a problem, just takes you from one terminal to another. Regional jets are nice. I love em, wife hates em. She says they are to small. I love em because they are small, quiet, and efficent to get on and off.

I will be using one of those puddle jumpers in a few days...
I will be going from SYR to CIN and then to MCO yeah can't wait. If you look at the Delta website and bring up a flight reservation you can get to a map of the airport. I will try to get one and post it so you can see what the bus thing look likes.

PS Dawnmaree...I'm working today if you out and about stop by.

Delta Comair through CVG is fine. I prefer the "puddle jumpers" over the "jumbo's" for several reasons.
1) It takes less time to deplane a regional jet than it does a jumbo jet (unless you take first class in the jumbo).

2) Due to the configuration of the seating, it is much easier to separate restless children.

3) The "service" by the flight attendant actually seems to be better on a regional jet.

4) When making ressies on the Delta website, more often than not, I can get the same seats reserved for each "leg" of the flight.... giving the children some familiarity with the seating arrangements (we have DS3 and DS5).
