Delta cheap flights at Christmas/New Year!!!

I am so excited I could just burst. I work in a travel agents over in Dublin and we are just in the process of taking bookings for next Christmas/New Year as they are loaded into the system. Delta flights are very cheap for this period if you book the instant purchase fares, my customers were delighted with the prices.

This set me thinking about changing my own Florida trip from October to Boxing day. I had a look for the cheapest fares and have managed to get flights with Delta via Atlanta out from Manchester on the 26th December and returning New Years day for £380 including tax which I think is a bargain. I never thought DH would go for it but I was so excited he has agreed to go. Just thought I would let others know about these fares, I think you can get them going just before Christmas as well.

I just hope work gives me the time off now!

Great news Helen!

Did you book direct with Delta or did you have a special travel agent method? I know Tink Tattoo has just booked with Delta from Dublin and was really chuffed with the price she got

I actually booked with Travelocity.co.uk they were the cheapest by around £50 per person. I also checked Expedia, Cheapestflights.co.uk and Delta.com.

I couldn't get a decent rate through work because I'm leaving from the UK and all our cheaper rates leave from Ireland.

Yep - I got some fantastic Delta prices over Christmas. The kids and I are flying out on 14th December and Back on 3rd Jan and our fare was €1,413 which = £314 each and DH is flying out on 21st and back on 3rd and his fare was €404 = £278.

I Booked to fly out via Atlanta which is why my fare his higher. If we had all gone via JFK then the 4 of us could have gone for the €404 fare which = £1,112

We are flying with Delta via Atlanta (10 of us) for our Christmas trip. Our TA secured us a price of £399.00 each compared to BA £638.00 and Virgin £900.00. Needless to say we were very happy with our price too!
