Delta baggage/seat fees?

Maybe I'm having a blonde moment...but I'm completely confused by Deltas baggage fee chart? Can someone explain? And do you have tp pay for seat assignments and a carry on? Thanks

Unless you choose a select seat you don't pay for choosing a seat. No fee for carryons that meet the size regulations. If they are too large you may have to check them. There is a checked baggage fee. I think around $25 but I'm not 100% sure.

No charge for seat assignment or carryon. For checked bags, $25 for first checked bag, $40 for second. (note: if you have two people travelling and only two checked bags between you, each would be $25).

Another option is Delta's American Express. If you have that card, 1st checked bag is free for up to 9 people.

I just flew Delta recently. You select the seat you want during the online purchase or at check in for no extra charge. You may carry on one item plus a personal item such as a purse or laptop. The measurements for carry on are on their website. If you need to check a bag it's $25 for the first bag and must be 50lbs or less. They will charge you extra if your suitcase is heavier. And as the PP said it's $40 for the 2nd bag.
