What are their hours? How exactly does it work? I understand that you can describe an item you saw in the parks and they will try to figure it out and ship it to you. What happens if they send you something that wasn't quite on the mark? Can you return it? Are the shipping rates reasonable?

I bought this scarf last month. I adore it!

Unfortunately, I only got to wear it twice before one of the rhinestones fell out. (Ironic, since I drove DH crazy spending half an hour inspecting the entire stock of scarves trying to choose the one that seemed the most sparkly and securely glued.) Can DelivEARS help with replacing or repairing a defective item? There was a matching hat that I'm absolutely kicking myself now for not getting. Has anyone that's been in the parks recently seen it? There was also a coordinating tote bag, watch, and coat that I saw, but let's not get too carried away...:rotfl2:

Call DelivEars. Tell them what you bought and what happened to it. Tell them you have a photo of the item. They may have you email them the photo.

Do you have the receipt still? There is a small shot they may replace it for you, but they should for sure be able to locate it and sell you another (along with the tote bag, watch, and coat. LOL :goodvibes

Disneyland Resort Merchandise Guest Services (formerly referred to as Disney DelivEARS) is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Pacific Time. You can phone them on 800 362-4533.

You can also contact Walt Disney World Resort Merchandise Guest Services on 407 363-6200, open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Eastern Time. Many Disney Parks Merchandise items are shared between the two domestic resorts, and one team can often have better luck finding a particular item for you than the other.

I saw the scarves in there tonight (in a little store in New Orleans Square), but I didn't see anything matching like bags or coats or anything :confused3

Thanks for the replies.

The coats I saw at Everything Under the Sun in DCA and again at World of Disney in DTD. The bags were at World of Disney, and the watch I saw at the Emporium. They were all the same coordinating houndstooth check pattern. The items usually weren't on display all together, but kind of in different areas throughout the bigger stores. It became kind of a joke amongst us after awhile..."Oh look, there's yet another something to go with my scarf!" I'm mainly just interested in finding the hat now, but even if I can't order it from Disneyland Resort Merchandising Guest Services (umm.....what's with the ridiculously long and boring new name? :rotfl2:), someone has one listed on ebay that I'm considering.

Sounds to me like you need to make a phone call in the morning. To check on your scarf. And hat and coat and purse and watch...:rotfl:

So I called DLRMGS today and ordered some ornaments and a pin. I asked about the scarf and found out that since I have the original receipt, I have 90 days from date of purchase to return it for refund or exchange. I think I'll just find some replacement rhinestones and glue them in as they fall out. I wore the scarf today and lost 4 more. Any replacement would likely have the same problem. I had the same problem last year with a trading pin that had gems glued on as well. It's just low quality glue.

Krazy Glue those suckers in there!!!

A helpful tip I learned is to go over the rhinestones with clear nail polish and they will stay put. Good luck!

Then why do my DD's nail gems fall off 2 hours after she puts them on? :lmao:

This is tough because they are actually back-faceted stones and all of the craft and beading rhinestones and crystals are flatbacked, which won't work with the setting. I found a site that has fully faceted vintage replacement rhinestones, for 20 cents apiece. What I've decided to do is purchase a complete replacement set of stones, pop out all of the remaining stones from the scarf ornament, and glue in the new ones with G-S Hypo Fix, which is the glue that jewelers and watchmakers seem to like using. If, by chance, I should lose one of the new ones, I can slip in one of the extras I will have. This seems like a safer investment than risking an exchange with DLR and having another one fall apart on me.

I know it's a lot to go through for a scarf, but I really love scarves, and this one is so darn cute!
