We were supposed to book our hotel yesterday*our at least 4 nights*

well we called yesterday and was told we couldnt becasue they arent booking for next yr yet ...well i know u can book for next yr so we waited and called this morning. the guy DH got then told him we can book at a nondetermined rate but nothign even the room isnt promised can szomeone help we are so lostas to what to do and i dont want to loose our VR spot...

I remember reading on the Disney website that they are only booking until December 31 2008 right now. I guess they have to allow you to wait until you can book. It may just be that they will be posting the new prices for 2009 6 months before Jan 1. So you may just have to wait a couple days.

HTH... Seriously, there is no way you will lose you VR if you cannot book yet, because they cannot expect you to book yet.

My understanding on how it works is that CR waits to a certain date to release the rooms for the next year. I think they release by quarters maybe. Just tell your coordintor you have not been able to book yet because the rooms are not available. This should not be a problem at all as they have gone through this before. Next time you talk to Central Reservations ask them when that timeframe will be open for booking.

We did this when we went to DLR for New Year's this past year. Not sure if its the same here in FL. But we were able to book up until December 31st, then make it a package when they release the January rooms
