Deleting a post?/stalker

Ok this is going to sound really strange...

I think I'm having my first internet crazy stalker experience..lol. So sad, but seemingly true. Today, 3 times, there have been 3 different posts where someone has made a comment to me..very odd comments. Then somehow they DELETE the posts.

How is this possible?

All 3 times the profiles are brand new..and only comments are on my posts. Super creepy. Is there a way to deal with this? Or just laugh and move on..lol

Hit the "report" button on any of the offending posts and that will notify the moderators and the admins.

The posts are being deleted. As well as 2 of the accounts.

2 of the posts were edited, but don't show "last edited on __"

Perhaps websmasters are dealing with the accounts? It is very hard to make things disapear on their own. After I heard about the website that makes fun and bullies many of us I asked the webmasters to delete my account and I never heard back. I'm glad it isn't deleted because many other posters reminded me just to ignore that other place and not let it get to me. The webmasters do the best the best they can to keep this a friendly place for dialouge.

Agreed. I didn't know about that.
I also didn't know that people sat around creating fake profiles to comment on a specific person's posts.

Oh well. Strange people in the world. All you can do is laugh.

Irony- Tuesday night I had to attend an "Internet Safety/Bullying" seminar at my son's school. 2 days later.....lol

Yeah if you ever want to feel really bad about yourself just google search your username. Chances are if you've had a heated discussion on the boards (especially the community board) then you are there. I was told it was started by people who have been banned from posting. When I found it I quit social media for a week and even cried for a few days because of how nasty they can be. It is ok now though because I know they don't really know me as a person so they can't make the character judgements they did based on a few posts here.

I was just informed about said place today. "Odd little rabbit hole" doesn't even begin to describe it.

Sad. All you can do is feel pity for people like that. There must be a void somewhere if gossip and attacking people is their idea of fun.

Is it possible that this is just a more run of the mill spammer and they ARE posting on other people's threads but you just don't happen to see before mods get there and delete them in the same way they are deleting tings from your threads?
You probably notice things on your own threads first and get notifications for posts there after all.

You just seem really worried, but unless more has happened than your posts indicate, I think maybe you are letting your imagination get the best of you.
