Well I have stayed at POR 3 times and just love it there. The theaming is great, you can take the boat ride to downtown Disney. The mansion and even the AB is great. We were there last May, stayed in building 15 in AB and just loved it there. With the winding pathways, and bridges its so pretty there.
We mostly ate at the food court, which the food is not bad. Loved ol'man swimming hole. We had a blast there. Hope you enjoy your stay.

ME too!! I love looking at all the pictures and reading all the info on the sticky here on the POR FAQ!!

I'm wondering if anyone thinks there is a difference between a ground floor or a top floor, right now I've requested a Mansion, but you never know - I'm going with the flow when I get there!!

We stayed there in January and loved it. We were in building 15 and it was a good location. If room location is important to you I would look at a map and see what area might work best for you. Some buildings can be pretty far from food court, pool, store, etc. We prefer the theming of the bayou side. It's not quite as manicured as the mansion side.

can use pool at POFQ because they are sister resorts and only a short
stroll down the river

And above all else, don't forget to see Bob Jackson in the lounge. He is awesome and completely family friendly
