I really like all the resorts in the boardwalk area because of their convenience. We have stayed at the dolphin and the bwi and prefer that location to any of the other resorts. really nice to be able to walk to mgm and epcot. lots to do in boardwalk area. we have a friend that lives in fort lauderdale and they often stay at the swan because of location and the beds

The Swan is the most convienent resort that we have stayed at. The boat ride to Epcot and MGM are obviously great, but the bus service that we experienced in both the spring and winter seasons were awesome! We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus. The best part is that the Swan is the first stop on the route when a bus makes more than one stop. The Dolphin is second on the loop, so you will pretty much be guaranteed a seat!

Just curious as to when your dates are. There is a big conference scheduled at the swan/dolphin starting the monday after thanksgiving. We are thinking of tagging along with dh since he will be there anyway. We love the swan second to the poly. Its very convenient. The swan is the lst bus stop, then the dolphin, they both share the boat launch to mgm and epcot or you could just walk to epcot via the boardwalk. The restaurant choices are amazing and you can even walk to fantastia min golf across the street. I have heard the resort is decorated very nice for the holidays. You will love the swan. Are you a starwood member, if not you can register on the website., that might help you get a room upgrade if one is available.
