I wore a WDW shirt on our last trip to DL. :)

Just starting to pack for Cali and when I went to get my personalized ears I realized the front says Disney World. I don't really want to buy a new pair, but is it dumb to wear WDW ears while in DL? Is this like wearing a Yankees hat to a Mets game? lol

Well, as a Mets fan, I can say never ever wear a Yankees cap to a Mets game! lol

But, as a Disney freak, I can say ... I hope it's ok because I was just at DL this week proudly carrying a WDW tote & wearing an Agent P T, which is nowhere at DL. I think it's less kosher, if you will, to wear non-Disney branded merch. I saw a women wrapped in a SpongeBob towel (it was raining) & it just looked so out of place. I remember on my dozens of trips to WDW that anyone wearing something from Universal was thought to be a bit disloyal. Silly, I know, but in for a penny, in for a pound....

I don't think it would be dumb or out of place.
If your worried about possibly becoming heckled over it, I am almost positive that will not happen. Lol
It isn't like you would be wearing a t-shirt that says Knots rules Disney sucks!

I don't think it'll matter. I've worn WDW t-shirts at DL and vice-a-versa without any issue. In truth, I doubt most people would even notice!

Actually it shows how much of a Disney fan you are :) I have a Disneyland Paris lanyard and I get alot of comments about in Disneyland California. Many CM's love to see stuff from other Disney parks, as it shows you are more than just a casual one off visitor. I am thinking about wearing a Disney store Dublin t shirt this year :)

Wear your WDW ears with pride

Hey! You're 50% of the way done with your Mickey Ear collection!

The first thing I did on my DLR trip was get a personalized set of ears (it was a solo trip, I'm 25M and I am not ashamed!). As soon as I got home, I set my DL ears right next to my WDW ears. My collection is now complete!

Nobody will care except for maybe some cast members might find it interesting. BTW, nobody will care if wear your Universal and Knott's shirts, either.

You need to branch out & get ears from every Disney park around the world! :daisy:

When my daughter is either able to 1.) make it all night on a plane to Paris without crying the whole time -OR- 2.) stay with a babysitter for a few days, Paris will be my first stop. :D It's a bucket list item for sure.

My kid got Disney on Ice ears. It came with a $12 bag of cotton candy. It's also not quite Disney Parks quality - made of some plastic foam instead of felt, and the label with Mickey on it is basically a pressure sensitive sticker and not an ironed on label like on park ears. However, it does come with the Feld Entertainment no questions asked guarantee. One of the sellers was handing out cards with their info along with the phone number. However, the number is on a label on the inside or bottom of every product.

I've worn DL stuff in WDW and WDW stuff in DL, it has actually sparked a lot of fun conversations with cast members and some guests too. I wore a 3 Caballeros tee shirt from Epcot (Mexico pavilion) in Disneyland and had a lot of fun comments from cast members. One cast member I saw a couple times and she always gave me a thumbs up, I was a little worried she was going to try to steal me shirt from me! :-)

It's also fun to wear older ears that aren't available anymore. People have asked me where I got the ones I have.

No problem with wearing them. The insult, IMO, is when they sell WDW stuff at DL.

I see no problem. I bought my starter pin set and lanyard at WDW. Then I bought the coolest pin that shows one icon from each park and has a spinning Mickey and Minnie holding outstretched hands. I get a lot of comments on that pin.

I notice a lot of people wearing WDW stuff at Disneyland. And I notice a lot of Sponge Bob, Scooby Doo, etc. It doesn't really matter what you wear.

Disney Ice snacks are ridiculous! My DD got a cute princess baseball cap at Disney on Ice though, she's worn it to the parks. She'll wear it this year too because she says her ears are too small now. I told her to wear her cap and we'll get new ears next year.

DH wore his Club 33 and Disneyland baseball hats to WDW last year. It made for interesting conversations with some of the CMs. I say it's all good!

You can share dlr with wdw's and visa versa. I have a lot. If it is something not sold by the other they will all be asking where you got it. I have a headband with dumbo ears, I got about 15 years ago, everyone at both parks want my ears. The funniest thing we ever took to the wrong park was fastpasses. Back in the days that the end time did not matter, you could use them on your next trip. So one day right after the inforcement started, wen dried to use a FP for tot at WDW that came from DL, the cm laughed so hard and let us go only because he wanted the pass and thought it was great for trying so hard.

It's actually cool to see other disney park merch.

In fact, I think it's cooler to see a different parks gear in a place where everyone has attire that ends in "land".

Plus, when you think about it, tons of people just wear generic disney tees from Target, Wal-Mart, etc. So any official park merch is cool. (even the plastic shopping bags from all the stores have both parks represented.......i.e disney parks)

Rock those Florida ears!

The only time I got some flak was when I wore a WDW shirt to Universal Orlando. I heard about it all day from employees.

As for Disney, I wear WDW shirts and hats at DLR, and vice versa. It's Disney merch, and I'm at Disney. As other have noted, sometimes it makes for nice conversations, people asking you about your experience at other resorts/parks.
