Would it not be easier to just bring a few re-usable bottles you could re-fill as often as you like. Is having bottled water really that necessary?? :sad2:

Did you check SWA's website?

This topic has been discussed many times already - try doing a search for relevant threads.

Can you, yes, but remember, water weighs a lot and will quickly eat up any luggage weight allowance. Additionally you need to consider your luggage impact to other passengers in case the bottles leak, although it is only water, I'm sure many people would be very unhappy if the bottles started to leak on their personal items.

Honestly I would not recommend or encourage anyone to place a case of water in their luggage for the above two reasons, it is a poor decision.

Man, how did this person get offended? :lmao::surfweb:

Packing water in checked luggage runs a very real risk of damaging the items of other passengers, often beyond repair.

I assume that OP decided NOT to check water, but hopefully any one else reading can understand why it is not recommended.

All types of water are on sale in Florida. Suggestions are order from a grocery or delivery service, use a town car with a grocery stop, rent a car for a day, walk or take the bus to a Hess station, or take a taxi to get your favourite water.

Even when travelling to the developing world I do not pack water in my checked luggage.

Because Tozzie and uva185 are in the EPH club?!! ;)

OP, glad that you found your answer, but a thread titled 'deleted' followed by a number of deleted posts invites more curiousity than one with a regular title.

I've never heard of deleting the thread because you got your answer.

Unless one didn't like the answer (though I don't see anything at all offensive in the responses).

Saying deleted for a thread is definitely inviting onlookers. Much like coming upon a trainwreck - I really should look away, but I can't help myself and look anyway.

I know I'm definitely rubbernecking!! I couldn't get past it without opening it very first thing.

I live a very sad, sad life :)

I deleted it because I found my answer.

As a PP asked. Why delete it just because you got your answer? Someone else could have had the same question and had it answered by reading this thread. :confused3

I admit I was hoping for a little more excitement then I found.. :lmao:

The thread title "Deleated" certainly caught my eye, too. And I'm upset that NOBODY followed the new rule!!!!!:rotfl2:
