Maybe you rode ToT 13 times in a row, saw Wishes 70 times, ate at every TS restaurant in World Showcase....

Or maybe you did something less intense, lol. Whichever. What are some fun, non-work things to do when you're on the CP? I'm looking mainly for Disney-related ones, but non-Disney things are fine too :thumbsup2.

I'm a Fall 2010 hopeful, and I think the CP would be a good time to go on some of the tours Disney offers. Also, since I'm in to photography, it would be a great opportunity to photograph as much of the World as possible.

Someone on another board once recalled that during her CP, she tried to start every work day with a quick ride on TOT (I'm assuming she worked at HS!). That would be a pretty awesome way to get yourself pumped for work!

I love the photography idea! I'm also a Fall 2010 hopeful and it'd be awesome to spend some downtime playing around WDW with my camera. Whenever I'm on vacations there with my family, they always get annoyed when I go into shutterbug mode. It would also be fun to see how many different characters I could find around the parks, especially ones I've never seen before.

My silly ride goal would probably be to ride either Splash Mountain or the Haunted Mansion 100 times. I never get tired of those! And I would really work on my Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin score so that next time my boyfriend and I compete, I could finally win!!

Now I'm excited to see what other people come up with!

I hope so! It looks like such a great and informative tour!

I am also a Fall 2010 hopefully and have started thinking about things I want to do on my off time. Here's part of my list.

Ride all four mountains back to back
Have a Character scavenger hunt
See Wishes, Illuminations, and Fantasmic all in one night
Ride every ride at least once
Volunteer at Give Kids the World

that would be fun, but unfortunately CP's aren't allowed in for EMH.:sad2:

-visit all four parks in one day
-buy a passport book and visit the world showcase
-drink around the world
-visit the resorts and eat at each one
-collect character autographs
- search for hidden mickeys

i think i acutally saw wishes at least 70 times on my program :rotfl:

So are CP guests (if they are using one of the 6 passes) not allowed to go to EMH either, even if they have room keys? And what about if the CP is staying with them and also has a room key? Sorry to jump OT with this, but this rule kinda bums me out. If I was a CP and had family members/friends visiting who wanted to go to EMH, I'd hate to not be able to go with them even if I were staying at their resort while they were visiting. And I'd feel really bad if I made their reservation and they were denied access to EMH, even if using their own tickets rather than CP passes.. But I guess rules are rules. :confused3

If you are a CM and have a room reservation (mean you are staying with your family or friends and have a resort key) you can go to Extra Magic Hours and of course your whoever you have made reservations for can go as well. You just need your room keys.

Great, thank you! :goodvibes

I've been racking my brain trying to think of more stuff I would try to do in my non-work time! Maybe if I had a day off on a really slow MK day, I'd try to visit every attraction there in one day, just because I never have before!

- get more cookbooks for my collection
- walk all the way around the Seven Seas Lagoon at least once
- visit all four parks in one day
- non-Disney, but I'd try to read at least two books a month (I don't have much time for leisure reading nowadays)
- eat my first Dole Whip!

Yes, you get a CM discount on the tours.

Things I did on my Fall CP:
-Attend 'Not-So-Scary Halloween' & 'Very-Merry Christmas' Parties
-Ate at almost every booth for the Food & Wine Fest
-Collected an elongated penny from every machine on property
-Ride every ride (Missed only 3.)
-See every Epcot Showcase Show
-Watch every parade
-See every show (Missed less than 10 here too)
-Disney Quest
-Cirque du Soleil
-Blizzard Beach

(Putt-putt golf and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal are good choices that I unfortunately didn't get to do.) :cutie:

I also want to visit all the theme parks in Flordia.

Sea world
Busch Gardens
Universal
Islands of Adventure

You know, I've been going to WDW on average once a year since I was 3 (not trying to brag, I swear!) and I've NEVER been to Sea World! Good idea!

- visit every park (I've only been to Magic Kingdom)
- see parades
- go to the water parks
- take some tours
- eat at all the really cool Disney restaurants
- go to the new Harry Potter park in Universal (I'm so super excited for this! I really hope it's up and ready while we're down there for Spring! They say it should be open in Spring 2010, so I dunno how late that might be in the season)
- go to some Disney shows

I'm so excited because I've only been to Disney for Grad Night in Magic Kingdom. I'm really looking forward to being able to do more down there!!

What kinds of tours do the parks give?

I just went to halloween horror nights at universal....it was a lot of fun....planning on going back again this year.
