Another thing I was surprised about is how critical I've become of other amusement parks.![]()
I was shocked by how the buses were run.
I worked at the MK during the last half of my program, and mostly closing as I worked a popular attraction. Catching a bus home at night was a nightmare. 90% of the CP's and ICP's that worked there were getting off at the same time and having to cram on to one bus that comes around every thirty minutes if you're lucky.
Then when the buses came, everyone would run to the buses and push and shove, and then clammer to get aboard. It was nuts. Unless you were into acting like an animal, you weren't getting on at least the first few buses that came. I remember one time I had to wait four buses before being able to get on a bus without having to fight my way on.
All I have to say for anyone doing or planning on doing the program is bring your own car!!! It will save you soo much headache!!
all that just to get a spot where you are so clustered that that amount of lack of personal space is grounds for marrage in some cultures. Not fun.
1. The sometimes "unpleasant" journey on the American Coach busses. I never knew the importance of having your own car until being body to body on various people at 1am - people you do not know, mind you haha
Hmmm.... the thing(s) that surprised me the most lol
2. How little I'd actually get to wear my own clothes. I definitely overpacked while still hitting up the stores for other disney merchandise after getting on the program
So how much clothes would you suggest bringing?
I'd like to know, as well. I have a tendency to over-pack as it is.![]()
