I somehow managed to delete all of my Disney photos off of the memory card. Is there any way of getting them back? I've been reading online that there are programs, but I was just wondering if any of you have used them before or could give me any more information about it. Do you think I should try one of these programs, or do you think I should take it to Ritz, or another camera store to see what they can do?

First......step away from the card....... don't use it at all!

Second, you can do this yourself.

I used the program that came free with my SanDisk card successfully once. There are other programs. I don't recall the names, but someone here will post them shortly for you I'm sure.

Thanks, you are giving me hope! :)

The one that comes with some high-end Sandisk cards is called Rescue Pro:

And yes, it does work well! As long as you haven't used the card for more shots since the delete, you should be able to get them all back - if you have taken some shots since, it might have overwritten a few photos.

I had to use it only once myself, and fortunately had gotten a free copy of it with a CF card...sure enough, I got all the photos back, no problem.

There may be others out there too, maybe a freeware one or cheaper one somewhere - unfortunately I don't know for sure. I have only ever used this one before, so I do know it works well.

Thank you! I'll try sometime later today.
