DON'T GIVE UP!

We wanted a Cat. 3 for our upcoming cruise, but they were all booked. I followed the advise of the CM who took our reservation: I added my name to the waitlist AND called back every week to check.

It worked! After months of trying, we got one of the midship Cat. 3's. I never received a call from DCL about the waitlist. If I hadn't kept calling each week, I wouldn't have the suite. Keep trying!

I agree with other poster. Don't give up. Check back with DCL weekly and you might get one because someone else canceled.

Oh please don't say that. I have one on waitlist and I don't think I got a call yet (haven't checked my home voice mail). We even have $1000 down on our reservation as to not delay anything if it were to come through!!!

By the way, I just got off the phone DCL reservations (CC) and they said the suites for this cruise haven't been released yet and that they only released the Wonder's suites for the latter half of the year.

What's going on??? LOL

we booked last january a cat. 4 for our oct 9 weatern cruise. it never occured to me about the suites being a big deal but the closer we got to time I realized I needed more space with 3 kids. I went on a wait list for ac ategory 3 just a few months ago and called every week sometimes more than once a wek. The DCl kept saying just keep calling back. Well this past Monday we called and got an upgrade. not to a cat 3 but to a cat 1!!!! we are till in shock and going to surprise the kids. Goood luck and keep trying,Mary
