We did this with two different ressies and did not have any trouble. The only thing I would suggest is you make sure at check in they are linked and you get the keys and everthing for the whole time you are there. You should not have to move or recheck-in. The only thing I am not sure of with a cash ressie if that will cause any problems, but I do not think it will.

I have the same question - should the confirmations from DVC indicate that each reservation is linked to the others?

Ours did not, but we did not have any trouble. Like I said in the earlier post I would make sure at check-in and you should not have any problem.
