Hi stranger! Glad to see you again! Haven't they? I'm sure your little one has, too! Any new Disney plans for you all??

Mall bunnies are crazy scary! Add one more reason to getting APs again. :rotfl: Disney definitely had the best I've ever seen!

Love the Easter Bunny pictures! How cute! :goodvibes

Aren't they adorable?? The boys were a tenny bit confused about the girl bunny being there too, but decided it made sense in the end. Somebody has to get the stuff ready to deliver afterall. Funny how the female half always gets that job.. She was too cute!

I was a little surprised to see Snow White was still only at five minutes this late in the morning. We ran through the line with only a couple of families ahead of us.

CIMG3033.jpg

CIMG3035.jpg

Being different, this time the boys rode alone in front of us. I was a little nervous over it again, but I don’t know why. They sit still and do just fine on rides. Besides, we were just behind them. I loved being able to cuddle and talk to my husband about the ride. I didn’t love sharing our mine car with another couple though! I’m being a baby, I know, but with such a low wait and no one in line, I would’ve been fine with waiting for the next. In the last Disney year, I don’t remember riding with anyone? Maybe we just had good timing before. I miss it!

CIMG3039.jpg

The boys requested the sword in the stone again and tried their muscles at pulling it out. As usual, it didn’t budge. Andrew suggested that they all teamwork it and see what would happen.

CIMG3042.jpg

Nothing. Not even a teeny tiny bit. Notice the blue shirts? That wasn’t a coincidence. Haha..

CIMG3046.jpg

Blake concentrating. Still, nothing.

We moved on to IASW. While this day had been planned, Andrew was responsible for the park choice. His reasoning was that it had the most fun rides in one spot. He was definitely right. We moved from one thing to the next and had a fun, uneventful morning in the park.

CIMG3053.jpg

In the goodbye room, Andrew was drawn to something. He asked what language the “kite one” was in. John and I didn’t have a clue, so I snapped a picture to check at home. We later learned it’s Greek!

CIMG3056.jpg

^I liked the ears.

CIMG3058.jpg

CIMG3060.jpg

Awesome timing again We got to watch the clock open!

CIMG3062.jpg

CIMG3067.jpg

Everyone was getting hungry, so lunch was called, at the usual spot of course!

CIMG3069.jpg

The cups have changed! This is way too much Christmas for November!

CIMG3071.jpg

CIMG3073.jpg

CIMG3074.jpg

Crossing the park after lunch, we moved on to POTC. Noticing the MK routine here? ;)

CIMG3090.jpg

This time our ride was a little nicer. No loud hair pullers behind us! Blake still wants the redhead, too!

Time for BTMRR! Check out the line for Woody & Jessie first! It's always like this! :headache:

CIMG3097.jpg

Okay, maybe a restroom stop, too. We seemed to be coming at the ride from a strange direction this time. I don't have any notes from lunch on, so I'm working on pure memory. I think we may have gotten FPs for this ride, but I'm not sure when. While I can remember parts of this visit like it was yesterday, this chunk of the day is tough to recall!

CIMG3099.jpg

CIMG3103.jpg

While Andrew and I were busy, John took Blake for some more shop browsing. We met them back here and Blake had to show brother something important. He loved this hat!

CIMG3106.jpg

Breaking the routine a bit, we skipped going straight back to Fantasyland to get out of the sun with the Country Bears!

CIMG3111.jpg

CIMG3112.jpg

CIMG3115.jpg

....next post....

One of the unplanned goals of this visit was Andrew’s stocking again. I did make the no buying rule, but we could always get some ideas. He was still set on that stocking with Mickey and his sorcerer hat, which didn’t thrill me. I’m not sure why, but I really didn’t care for it. It didn’t have that stocking look like Blake’s does. It was his choice though, so it remained in the running. I stuck with the “It isn’t Christmas yet!” rule and skipped buying it. I admit I was secretly hoping he’d change his mind by the next visit! Unlike his mother, Andrew usually sticks with things once he makes a decision. I didn’t hold much hope.

We looked around to get some more ideas, not that we hadn’t already seen all of this stuff before!

CIMG3119.jpg

CIMG3121.jpg

CIMG3122.jpg

^Blake has the Eeyore one!

CIMG3123.jpg

CIMG3124.jpg

CIMG3125.jpg

It while shopping that a thought hit me. We should go measure Blake! It was during this time that Blake had a growing mission of his own. Brother was working on 44 and Space Mountain, but Blake had something even better on his mind. We’d been measuring at home and he was getting close. Time to get an inspiration pic in the park!

CIMG3136.jpg

Along the way.. Madness by the tea cups!

CIMG3137.jpg

Our destination!

CIMG3138.jpg

CIMG3139.jpg

CIMG3141.jpg

Toontown was full of the Christmas spirit already. Mickey and the gang were singing “Jingle Bells” as we parked the stroller. The boys broke into dance. It was too funny. John finally pulled them away to go check out Minnie’s house. We had a fun time looking at all the decorations, but I purposely avoided too many pictures in there. It was insanely crowded and it wasn’t supposed to be Christmas yet!

CIMG3143.jpg

I was okay with taking pics of the wreathes though! John made sure to point it out, stressing how ridiculous my Christmas in November ban really was. He did have a point. I took tons of pictures in the Christmas Shoppe, but stood by the fact that the store never changes. It was completely different!

After the Mini Minnie house tour, it was time for that pic. I’m sure you’ve guessed what Blake was excited over!

CIMG3145.jpg

He made it! Blake could not wait to ride Goofy’s Barnstormer! I was a little worried he might not grow enough before Toontown closed, but we were lucky! I was so excited that the boys would each get to experience this one as their first “big kid” coaster.

Blake was on cloud nine. He walked with his head up, taking everything in. This is where big kids go and he had to see everything. I found myself telling more than a couple groups to go ahead of us. I wasn’t about to rush him through this special moment! It was probably the best line experience I've ever had. Every couple of seconds, I got another "Look, Mommy!" as he discovered something else. Even the colors on the fence were exciting to him! It was a big kid ride fence afterall! The whole thing makes me teary to remember. I was so happy for him, but it does make me sad to see how fast my baby is growing, too.

CIMG3146.jpg

CIMG3148.jpg

"Goofy is growing popcorn!!"

CIMG3149.jpg

Pretend you don’t see the lights!

CIMG3150.jpg

CIMG3151.jpg

Blake asked me to pick him up so he could see better. I did start getting a little nervous. Blake is the shy, quiet little guy. He’s never been as adventurous as brother, but I could see how determined he was. I hoped he’d like it, but couldn’t make up my mind. How would this end?

At the top, he was measured again. I held my breath for a moment. He just barely made it at the bottom and I’ve read so many stories about children being turned away on that second measure. It would break his little heart! Oddly enough, he actually seemed taller on the second measurement!

CIMG3152.jpg

Blake started squealing and jumping up and down as we waited for our turn. He was so excited! Finally, it was time to go!

CIMG3153.jpg

Can you tell how excited he was? ;)

Coming sooooon.. What do you think? Did he like it? :confused3

My guess is Blakers loved Goofey's Barnstormer!!

The pictures of the boys with the Easter Bunny are just priceless!! Would be hard to pick a favorite!!

I did notice all 3 of your guys were in blue shirts!! :thumbsup2 Did you have on a blue shirt too?

HAPPY EASTER to you and your family! Hope the Easter Bunny is good to the boys!!

Blake looks so happy and proud of himself on the big kid ride. I hope he loved it. I can't wait til I get to take Carter and Landon on their first big kid ride. Keep growing, boys!

Oh my gosh!! That is the cutest thing!! I love how excited he was! I got a little teary eyed with you! Oh I can't wait to hear all about it!!! :cool1:

First of all, Happy Easter!! :flower1:

Blake looks sooo excited in those pictures! I'm sure he LOVED the ride!!

I'm going to say that Blake loved it!

How adorable is he!? He just looks so excited to be on the ride.

Happy Easter! Hope everyone had a great day!

We had a nice day here. The boys were thrilled with the Easter Bunny and had us all up before the sun. Andrew actually woke me at 4am to say their baskets were missing from the table. :headache: I'm a tired mommy tonight.

The most exciting part for Andrew was learning the bunnies must've shopped at Disney the day we met them. Someone forgot to pull the price tag off their Phineas & Ferb toys. Oops! It wasn't such a huge deal. He already knew Santa shops there. :rolleyes1

I can't help but wonder if I'll get another year of this or not. I didn't believe in the Easter Bunny idea for very long myself. The idea was ridiculous to me. Blake might be the same. He asked brother how the Easter Bunny carried all that stuff, as he thinks the bunny is tiny like the rabbits outside. Brother's reply, "In a basket, of course!" :lmao:

Thanks! I love this year's bunny pics!

I was wearing blue, too! We should've done a family picture or something. ;) Most of my Disney shirts are blue though, so I don't count. I don't know how the blue shirt thing was started, but I'm sure it must've been Andrew. The boys love matching, especially with their father.

Yay for Blake being tall enough for Goofy's rollercoaster!

It was huge for him! I'm glad WDW has a couple rides with shorter height requirements. It helped in that long journey to forty inches if there are some fun steps along the way!

Blake looks so happy and proud of himself on the big kid ride. I hope he loved it. I can't wait til I get to take Carter and Landon on their first big kid ride. Keep growing, boys!

Don't wish them to grow too much! I'm sure you're already seeing how time flies once little ones enter the picture. They already grow up way too fast!

Oh my gosh!! That is the cutest thing!! I love how excited he was! I got a little teary eyed with you! Oh I can't wait to hear all about it!!! :cool1:

He was nuts! It was definitely a great day for such an amazing accomplishment. We really didn't expect that he'd hit it just yet.

First of all, Happy Easter!! :flower1:

Happy Easter!! You'll find out soon! ;)

I'm going to say that Blake loved it!

He really was! It was a big day for my little man! Updating soon!

I know they really are soo scare there just creepy! Look at that bunny I dont blame him being scared! lol

There really should be some sort of "Do I keep my AP or not?" Disney support group.
Ha ha! I think that would be a very small group!:)

We just found out that my husband's brother and family are coming to Disney later this year. In the past, we usually joined them for a day.

Hmmmmmm.....:confused3

Can't wait to hear how the Barnstormer goes!

So excited he got to ride Barnstormer before Toontown was gone!!!:thumbsup2:cool1::banana::yay::woohoo::dance3::cheer2:

We were so glad he made it before it was gone! During that time, he'd run up to the measuring spot (wall where we track the boys' heights) every couple of days to be checked. It was such a big deal to him!

Creepy bunny or not, he is soooo cute!! You have such a handsome little man. I love that pic and don't think he look too too scared. I'm so excited for you and your next trip! Staying where you got engaged sounds wonderful! That would be special. I think John and I technically got engaged in the parking lot of a mall. Not such a romantic place. :lmao: I'm jealous! Plus, you'll be there for my birthday, too! ;) Wish we were going then!

Hmmm.. I think I see new APs in your future!

Can't wait to hear how the Barnstormer goes!

Coming soon! I was hoping to update tonight, but the boys are wearing me down lately. Where do they get all this energy?? I'm exhausted!

Thursday could be the most awesome last minute trip ever, ya know.. party: Happy Birthday!! Have a great day, even if it isn't with Mickey!

No birthdays at WDW for me anymore. Mine's at the end of August. Andrew will be in school then, and we won't have APs anymore.

Blake was quick to pull the bar down when I was beside him. He was ready for this ride to go! We moved outside and looked up that big climb.

“I am going up there??”

I couldn’t decide if he was excited or scared when he asked that. He didn’t say another word as we neared the top. Flying down the other side, he started laughing! Blake would laugh the rest of the ride and I knew exactly what that meant. He was terrified! When we came to stop, he stopped laughing and smiled at me. I could see the fear he was trying to hide.

“Did you like it?”

“YES! I want to ride one more time ”

He’s so silly. Blake is so desperate to be a big kid and likes to act tough. I’m sure he’d say he loved it even if he hated every second. I will never forget that nervous laugh. Of course, we jumped back in the line for another try. That time, he didn’t laugh, but he definitely holds on tight!

DSC09115.jpg

^^Blake's first big kid ride! We're in the third seat.^^

Andrew acted proud of his baby brother, but didn’t hide being annoyed by this either. Blakers just got two turns on a ride while he waited. This didn’t sit well in my four year old’s mind. Big kid rides were special for mommy and Andrew only and he wasn’t fond of sharing my time. We had a short talk about all the times Blake waits for us without complaint, before taking our turn on Goofy’s Barnstormer. It's tough having a little brother, I guess.

We all gathered outside after and decided to head to Mickey’s house!

CIMG3157.jpg

CIMG3159.jpg

Christmas ban was over now, not that it was much of a ban to begin with!

CIMG3160.jpg

CIMG3168.jpg

^ Best Friends again ^

As we wandered into Mickey’s house, I couldn’t help but get a little sad. We didn’t know when Toontown would be closing at the time, but knew it probably wouldn’t be long. I found my reaction a little silly. My family never spent much time in this part of the park, but I’d still miss it. I decided to consider each visit a potential “last time” and took as many pictures as I could. I shouldn’t have chosen to limit pictures in Minnie’s house, so we planned another stop in there next to fix this.

CIMG3182.jpg

There are so many sweet little details in this house. Hope I don’t post too much!

The best part this time was Mickey’s fireplace. The boys loved the stockings!

CIMG3184.jpg

CIMG3185.jpg

CIMG3189.jpg

Mickey’s Christmas Tree The boys couldn’t have cared less about this part. Haha.. I asked them for the pic.

CIMG3191.jpg

"Of course this will ruin my food mixer, not that you'd care." ;)

CIMG3192.jpg

CIMG3193.jpg

CIMG3194.jpg

We skipped going in to see Mickey. It wasn’t in the plans and the wait was too much for a spur of the moment M&G. I did take a picture of my most favorite part of Toontown, not counting the gazebo behind Minnie’s house..... Mickey’s giant pumpkin!

CIMG3201.jpg

I have no idea why exactly I love it so much, but I always did and miss it more than any other Mickey detail there.

We spent quite a chunk of time checking out Mickey’s garage. We’d rushed through just about everytime before and I wanted to see some more.

CIMG3202.jpg

CIMG3204.jpg

Andrew stared at that one for a few minutes. "Mik 'n' Min?" he kept asking himself. "Mik 'n' Min??"

"Mickey and Minnie!!"

I love those adorable little light bulb moments!

CIMG3205.jpg

.....next post.....

Could this all be any cuter??

CIMG3206.jpg

Hahahhaha!! I love that.

CIMG3207.jpg

The titles are too funny!

CIMG3209.jpg

Pretty sure I saw this in a picture of Mickey’s new M&G location. When we were there this month, I didn’t notice it anywhere though? :confused3

CIMG3210.jpg

CIMG3212.jpg

CIMG3213.jpg

That was fun, right? I would have loved a chance to go into all the blocked off areas in that house! It was all too cute and fun. I wonder what happened to it all? If I’ve read correctly, the houses are completely gone now. Even if we didn’t particularly care too much about it all, we’ll still miss it.

Moving on! We wandered back over for a quick walk through Minnie’s house for some Christmas decoration pics. You never know when a visit could be your last, right?

CIMG3214.jpg

CIMG3216.jpg

CIMG3219.jpg

CIMG3221.jpg

CIMG3223.jpg

Loved ‘em!

CIMG3228.jpg

We got so many nasty glares and sighs when Blake hopped up here to check things out! Are kids not supposed to be there? I know I’ve seen lots of pictures of other children doing the same. Oh well. He played a few seconds and hopped down.

CIMG3233.jpg

That kitchen was always chaos!

CIMG3234.jpg

CIMG3235.jpg

CIMG3236.jpg

Too funny! I wish it was that easy!

Done with Toontown, we decided it was probably time to get moving. The boys were nearing naps and we all wanted to be home early this day. Disney days didn’t last quite as long as they did in the last year, huh? More like Disney half days, I guess. They work for us. We accomplish everything we really want to and have a great time. The boys nap in the car and we still have a nice evening at home.

Before we left MK, we had to call a snack time at Sleepy Hollow! While we were snacking, something caught Blake’s ear..

CIMG3239.jpg

“It’s music!”

But, where was that music coming from? He kept listening while we finished up our snack.

CIMG3245.jpg

That is the most appetizing food pic you’ve ever seen, right? :lmao: The food wasn't the goal. It was really just adorable how Blake kept trying to sneak sugar on his finger. I'm pretty sure he thought he'd get in trouble for it, but we found it adorable. As for the yumminess, trust me, it was yummy! You really can’t go wrong with deep fried crispiness and powdered sugar! Exciting fact- I had never tried a funnel cake before meeting my husband. Shocking, right? My family just never got them at fair/carnivals!

Cleaning up the mess, Blake finally put it together. He was hearing the parade! It was just after three now, so we were mostly trapped in this area. Might as well find a spot and watch, right? Everyone had been lined up for some time now, so we didn’t have the most spectacular view, but it was enough for us.

CIMG3247.jpg

I only caught that one picture. John put Andrew on his shoulders and I held Blake. They both claimed they could see great, and we joined the crowd a little closer. I think I was bugging a custodial CM with my water bottle during this. I sat it on the rail and turned. He started to rush up, probably thinking I was abandoning it. When I noticed, I snatched it up to offer Blake a drink. It went back and forth a couple of times before I finally tossed it in the stroller. It felt like a vulture beside me, just waiting to pounce. Why would I leave my nice refillable bottle here? Oh well. I supposed guests do crazier things!

The highlight of today’s parade was, of course, Alice’s float! Even in this crowd, she picked Andrew out almost immediately. Andrew blew a kiss and she returned one with a huge smile. She turned to get the Mad Hatter’s attention and motioned to Andy-Roo. Instant smile, he acted silly and waved, too. Alice and Andrew were so crazy over each other. Everyone else must’ve disappeared while the continued to blow kisses and wave. Even as the float was passing our view, Alice stayed turned around to him. It was such a sweet moment!

We watched the rest of the parade and moved in the crowd to head to the exit. John and I couldn’t stop smiling over how happy Alice had just made Andrew. He couldn’t believe she saw him in all those people, or made such a big deal over him! It wasn’t our first time for it, but we planned to stop at GS to leave her a compliment. She definitely made his MK visits magical!
