It's funny how fast the Magic Kingdom switches from Halloween to Christmas. I guess if you stretch both holidays out for a couple months then it makes sense. :rotfl:

Love the Alice interaction again. I bet Alice did remember Andrew. She looked like she did in the pictures. It's nice that the White Rabbit spent time with Blake during it all. I was really hoping Alice was going to go and ride the teacups with the boys. That would have been cool.

At least WDW is better than the stores. It makes me nuts going down an aisle of halloween costumes to run into the next full of Christmas trees. They start too early, but they don't mix the two!

It would've been pretty awesome if she went with them. I can imagine how the line would've treated me then though. :lmao: Andrew lucked out twice last year and got to ride the tea cups with her. I think that'll be all the tea cup/Alice pixie dust he gets. (or needs) My avatar pic is both boys on their 2010 birthday trip riding with her. It was an awesome moment!

Here's some video from Andrew's chat with Alice this day! I only have little bits of the conversation since I wasn't sure if John was taking pictures or recording. I didn't want to ask out loud if he was recording, but wanted to make sure we had a little of something. After the stuff I missed during the MNSSHP conversation, I was hoping we'd get some of their fun! Unfortunately, he was just taking pictures. :sad1:

This is a fun test of my memory. It seems that Andrew mentioned the thirteen days before they talked about the cake. Either way, I think I still do pretty awesome on recalling stuff!

For more fun because PirateKate has me thinking about it tonight.. I finally uploaded the video of the boys riding with Alice earlier that year. (Their birthday trip - June 2010) I don't think I shared this before anyway.. (Side note- I miss my "World for a Dollar" TR!!!! )

Enjoy the spinning! Can you tell when John lost track of where they were? :lmao:

Both videos are so adorable!!

I am really sorry about your mom. But I am so glad you had a flight full of understanding people when you really needed it the most!

You will know you are nearing the end of your passholder time when you start getting mail about renewals. I got an email yesterday-- "You have 15 days left!":scared1:
Hee hee!

Super cute! Thanks for posting the videos!

So cute!! Thanks for uploading them!

Very cute!

Both videos are so adorable!!

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I've added video before, but I think this is the first time you hear much of us talking. It's odd maybe, but I don't like hearing what the people in TRs I read sound like. I think it hurts how I imagine things in a way. Make sense? :confused3 Hope this didn't spoil us! :lmao:

15 days?? I'd be near tears! I never got any of these emails with our last set. :confused3 We even let the first set expire beyond the thirty days before making the smart choice to keep 'em. I'm not looking forward to those when ours' end.. IF this ends anyway.. ;)

It's looking better that we might go ahead and renew. Isn't this how the last TR went? Whining about the year ending. Sad that we're not going to renew.. Ultimately, we go ahead and get another set. If I were reading this, I'd probably have guessed this would happen all along..

I calculated the difference between doing our planned birthday week next year and just bumping it up to APs. Since it's in June, it's doubtful that I'd be able to find any insanely good deals beyond the resident pricing, right? Tickets could go up this fall again, I'm sure.

Then I foolishly checked out Andrew's school schedule a little more. He has a three day weekend or more just about every month?? :confused3 A full week for Easter, Thanksgiving, and two for Christmas! I don't remember getting so much time off when I was in school!

I may have also mentioned how much I'd miss the Christmas stuff in particular. (Parade, Osborne Lights, Epcot storytellers, that gorgeous icicle castle, etc.) There's no way we'll manage nearly forty days like we have been, but even a dozen makes this an excellent deal, I think.

I gave all my findings to my wonderful husband.

"So where are you with this? Right now?" was my question. I expected he'd say the same line about my deciding to give up Disney for other stuff.

"I'm where all you'd have to do is say you really want this."

Eek. Here we go again. It's all up to me. Again. I'm not sure right now. WWYD? (Because I know everyone would say to simply let them expire on here, right? :lmao:) This really changes my current TR.

If I lived 90 minutes from WDW, I honestly think that I'd always have APs. We have too many weekends where we wake up and say, "Can we go to Epcot today?" If we lived close enough to make that happen, I'd need the APs. But, to be balanced, I suppose it depends on what your alternatives are for that money/time. But you don't want to go through CHH withdrawal... :rotfl:

I feel your pain! :)
It really is a terrible problem to have! Hee hee!

But I am in the same boat. My husband would be ok with renewing the passes. It is up to me! Horrible pressure-but yay for awesome hubbies!!! :lovestruc

Oh just let them expire - who needs more Disney?!
ME! - forget that first line - RENEW ALREADY!!!!

Love the video of riding the tea cups with Alice! That must have been so cool for them. I'm sure Blake and Andrew were the envy of all the other guests.

APs- absolutely. 90 minutes away is nothing. Even with Andrew in school, I bet you'd find plenty of chances to go. :thumbsup2

I would have to agree with the others, go for it! It seems like you, your husband, and both boys are still enjoying Disney to the fullest, so it certainly seems worthwhile! If you guys weren't having fun with it anymore, that would be one thing, but that certainly doesn't seem to be the case!

I'd say if you have the money, renew them. Otherwise, if it was me, I'd get 6 months out and wish I had.
Yeah, Dis isn't really the best place to get money vs Disney advice!

This is even more shocking. Nothing but "renew!" comments. :rotfl:

It's conflicting. Last night I was 100% in favor of going for it. After spending the day at MK, I'm oddly back to letting it go. Not that today wasn't fun or anything. We had a great time! Our visit to Mickey in his new place was especially awesome. ;) We didn't wait for much, and had so much fun. And this was in 90 degrees with a 9.9 crowd level! (touringplans) I can't wait to get back, but we have a lot of change headed our way this fall. I'm going to move forward based on letting them expire. :sad1: After we adjust to Andrew being in school, we can look at it again. I'm sure I'll go back and forth on this dozens of times between now and July 27th, but I'll keep it to myself until we make a final decision. The man who would've bought me the castle last night seems to like this plan best today, too.

Disney is making me nuts! We're not renewing. :sad1: We are renewing! :yay: We're not renewing. We'll probably get APs again later this year? :confused3 What was that about my family and making plans again? ;)

I'm having fun playing with pictures from today and thought I'd share some. We found ourselves going back for a second visit later in the day. I'll tell the story behind all that later on, of course! I don't see myself getting to an update in the next few days with Sunday being Easter and all. ;) (Well, I could be doing one now, but I'm working on photocards for the grandparents! Which would you use??)

Happy Easter from Andrew & Blake!!

Oh my gosh! Those are some cute pics!! Disney has the best looking Easter Bunny I've ever seen!!! (what else did I expect?!)

Can you use 2 pictures on the card?? It would be cute with the bottom two! I like the second to last one cause it's got lots of personality but both boys are looking at the camera and smiling and that last one with the hugs is just adorable!!

I love the Easter pics, those are great!
I like the one where you can see their face the best for a card. But, the hugging one is adorable!

The hugging one is really cute but I like the third one the best.

I know where you are coming from. Every day I change my mind-and I have to make it up soon!!!

Aren't they adorable?? I loved the bunnies! The ones we've seen the last few years have been borderline CREEPY! I wish I'd known MK had an Easter Bunny last year. We wouldn't have skipped over so much of April!

I could have done a collage type card and used them all, but decided to skip the card altogether. Easter is such a girly holiday for cards. :headache: I didn't end up finding anything I liked and just printed pics instead.

I agree. :thumbsup2

The boys have to hug everyone! Blake even ran up and hugged a store clerk beside Mickey's Philharmagic yesterday. :confused3 She loved it, of course, but we definitely need to work on that with him!

The third one won. :thumbsup2 But, I skipped the photo card and just printed it. I couldn't find any designs that I liked with same day pick up. I'm going to be so late with Easter cards.. Oh well.. I think my dad and grandmother kinda expect this. I might have a history of not getting things mailed when I say I will. :rolleyes1 It's tough to pick out which pictures to send when you're constantly taking new ones!

Made up your mind yet?? The clock is ticking.. ;) Tonight, I'm thinking.. RENEW! RENEW! RENEW! If only it were so easy.. Frustrating stuff, huh? There really should be some sort of "Do I keep my AP or not?" Disney support group. ;)
