Andrew is too funny with his leaf! And the old man driving too fast! :rotfl:

How frustrating to have to wait so long in the online check in line! I didn't do it this time because I knew I was going to be a pain in trying not to change rooms!

It's so sad that your Disney year is almost over! Poor Blake, wanting to go to a 'zort and not have all the Disney fun be over with. I hope he hits 40 inches soon. Carter's just over 38 inches and I have a feeling the last two inches will take the longest.:rotfl:

I feel like I fell so far behind being out of town!

I got all caught up. How awesome is it that all of your boys share the same birthday. That's just so cool.

I can't believe that you're coming up on your last Disney day.

I feel like I've been working on this thing forever. Can't believe it's nearly done. Unlike some others;), I don't have another to jump into either. What am I going to do with myself?

That is a great drawing of Goofy! It has got to be hard to do a partial profile view!
I can't believe we are coming to an end....this is making me sad!
But tell Blake I think he had a GREAT score on Toy Story Mania!!!:thumbsup2

Blake pretty much thinks ALL of his scores are great!

That was the longest online check-in ever. I told John that they probably remembered all of the trouble from last time and no one wanted to help us! :headache:

Andrew was right about the ECV. It was an old man traveling too fast! It didn't take much to crack me up in that mess.

Nobody wants the Disney fun to end! :sad1: We're crossing our fingers, but I'm thinking the same. These last couple of inches are going to be tough! Carter might actually be a touch taller than Blakers! My poor little guy is doomed to be short. We measured on January 11th and Blake was just hitting 38 with shoes on!

I have just spent the last week reading your whole TR! I feel exhausted now :lmao:

Jessica you have such a lovely family. Your love for your boys (including John) just shines through in your posts. I can tell you and John are the best of friends, you have the sweetest relationship.

Andrew and Blake are such a hoot, what bright boys they are too! You obviously give them so much of your time.

I'm sad it's almost all over :sad2:

How cool that Andrew got to be on the screen in Star Tours! Also, that's pretty crazy how GMR was completely empty! And you got the cowboy scene...we never did manage to see that!

Both boys say such cute things. Love the speeding old man and the 'zort!

I can't believe it's almost over! :sad1: I hope Blakers hits 40 inches soon!

You're too sweet! Glad you've enjoyed our stories. It's been fun to share them. (Well, most of them! ;))

I'm sad it's about over, too! I could reeeally use a Disney day right now. :sad1:

It was awesome that Andrew was on the screen! I really thought this was one thing we'd never manage. He's a lucky guy. It was great to happen on our last DHS day, too!

Is GMR usually busy? It was nuts earlier that day, but I usually see it the way it is in my pic. :thumbsup2

We've still got our fingers crossed on the forty inches. He's got about four more months of growing time left!

A strange noise tried to pull me from my sleep. I knew I was required in stopping it, but I wasn’t going to let it win. John nudged me and I realized it was the phone. Resisting my urge to simply stop the noise, I picked it up.

“Hello?”

Someone started speaking, but that was as far as I wanted to go with the conversation. It was much too early to pay attention to anyone. I looked at the numbers on the clock and wished this person would speed it up a bit. I was ready to fall back into my dreams. I’d been battling Zurg, with my score creeping closer and closer to perfect 9's.. Who would interrupt such a wonderful dream? I closed my eyes. This guy was annoying.. and familiar. Why was Stitch calling us??

Oh yeah.

“We're at Disney!”

It was fun start. Haha.. At least I didn’t just hang up the phone this time. ;)

After waking the rest of my sleepy family with that, we were soon fed and dressed to go. Even though I’d told myself I’d pay more attention to their Disney clothes this year, I couldn’t help but laugh to see Blake in something I knew he’d worn many times already. So much for my pictures! Andrew only added to it by requesting he wear the exact shirt he started the Disney year with. It was an odd request, but I’d given up the clothing battle ages ago. We pulled up the TR to check before packing to go. Lucky for him, it still kinda fit! He'd never make it to 44 inches!

At the TTC, we were directed into our most favorite part of the lot. It was a perfect start. The monorail vs ferry decision came soon, but Disney made it easy on us. We walked right down to board a waiting ferry and began the journey across the lagoon.

CIMG3959.jpg

The ferry moved so slowly this time. The anticipation of starting this day was killing me and I began to wonder if I couldn’t just swim faster. Andrew requested a picture and danced around. I decided not to swim after all and enjoyed watching him show off. It didn’t take long to see why he’d been acting so silly. A little girl was grinning at him, and he was eating it up.

Ignoring me, he quickly made friends and learned she was on a first trip. They shared their favorite ride stories and she wished him well on making forty-four inches this morning. Despite being taller, there was no way anyone would have her on Space Mountain again! Andy-Roo played tough, saying he’d handle it with no problem. It was sweet.

Andrew’s castle view on the ferry..

The children continued to chatter on about pictures and autograph books. I watched across the water, still wishing this ship would speed up a bit. In about the same amount of time that it always takes, we were back on dry land.. Despite the long ride to the park, we even made it in plenty of time to see the welcome show. My worry over missing it had only added to my impatience. I knew I needed to settle down or this was going to be a rough day!

We found a spot in the center of the crowd and waited for things to begin. Those first few notes always get me, so I prepared ahead of time. Tears seem inevitable this day, but I’d do my best!

CIMG3961.jpg

Andrew continued his dancing game, but added some photography work. He was thrilled to see that the mayor would be starting our day.

CIMG3973.jpg

That music made my heart race and I looked around. Was anyone watching? I could feel them building, but didn't want to give in. Who cries at the good morning song anyway?

CIMG3967.jpg

CIMG3970.jpg

Without the fun of streamers, the show was done and I made it without tears. Maybe it wouldn’t be such a rough day anyway. We joined the crowd to move into the park.

This is it! The very last day of our Disney year is here.

Sorry that it's taking so long to finish this thing! I've been distracted with a project here lately, and didn't have any interest in working on my own TR. :goodvibes I promise to get back to it now.

Hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day!! Mine has been great! :rolleyes1

CIMG6563-1.jpg

So maybe it was odd to do an update tonight, but I couldn't stay away from the DIS with a V-day gift like this! :woohoo: Who else could fully understand how awesome my husband is this year than everyone here? We're going back!!

WOW! That has got to be the best Valentines Day gift ever!!! What an awesome surprise. Can't wait to see what your cute family has in store for this year!

Will you be doing TR's for any trips you've taken since your last AP's have expired?

Ok, first of all.....:cheer2::dance3::woohoo::yay::banana: Hooorayyyy for another year of Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wizard:

I'm glad you made it for the welcome show on your last day! And don't worry, it makes me cry too, congrats on making it through tear-free!!

Oh my god, how awesome! You can start another Disney year!

:woohoo: I can't wait to get back!!

This is the best Valentine's gift I've ever gotten! Last year, he got me a keychain. (I think it's in the TR actually!) We don't really celebrate this one, but I'm glad he wanted to this year!! :yay: I think he's really missing our Disney days, too.

As far as other trips.. There's only really the one weekend back in December. I might add it on to this one. I had a special moment at DHS. ;) We haven't done anything particularly "TR worthy" really with parks. This weekend was supposed to be our first Sea World visit, but DH has kinda messed up my plans now.

I'm so excited! We don't have any plans for when yet, but I can't wait to get back to see Mickey. It sounds like so much is changing lately! :yay:

Glad you cry during the welcome show, too. I have a few times, but held it together during this one. It was rough! I think I get a little teary just watching it on youtube sometimes.

I saw the title of this update and kinda wondered if there might be a little surprise involved!! John kinda rocks! :) I hope this means you'll continue your TR!! I was starting to think about how much I'll miss reading it soon!

Oh and I totally cried at the opening show on our trip with the boys! Actually, I sometimes cry listening to it on my cd!

He kinda does, huh? I thought I was only getting the new Twilight movie. :rolleyes1 We were almost 100% settled on getting APs in June anyway. It made sense to stretch a set across two birthdays and Christmas to save some money. (And add some day trips!) Being the money master of this relationship, such a big purchase wouldn't have been so thrilling to me otherwise. I don't see us holding them until June though! I'm ready to go tomorrow!!

On the tear topic, I heard OneRepublic's "Good Life" while out with Blake today. Thanks to Disney commercials, that even made me tear up! I'm so excited to keep our Disney days going. Blake has been asking when we'll go back soo much lately! (Divided on the TR part, but you saw how that went last time..)

Hope your trip went great, btw! I can't wait to hear how it went, if you're planning to share with us. ;)

I'm glad you all got more Annual Passes!! Perfect Valentines Day gift! Just in time, too, since this Disney year TR is winding down. It'll be great to get another year in. I don't think I could wait all the way until June. You don't want to miss the Flower and Garden Festival, right?

Haha! Yeah...June is rather far away still! ;)

Our trip did go well...it was a very different trip (much slower paced) than ever before and really a bit slower than I was expecting. Being pregnant really took it out of me much more than I planned. But we still had a great time and it was so nice to have the quality time together before baby comes.
I am planning on tacking a mini-trip report onto the end of my current trip report...and I AM planning on getting that last update or two in and FINISHING that dang report!! I really am gonna do it!! Gah!! I just keep avoiding it cause it gets my blood pressure up! LOL

I know!! At dinner tonight, I asked if Andrew wanted to skip school for WDW tomorrow. I guess we're teaching him well because he actually said no! School is more important! I still want to do some other things this year, but we need to get back to WDW ASAP!

So glad it went well for you! Even done slow paced, Disney is awesome. It's so sweet that you got one last trip in before the little guy gets here, too. Are you ready yet? :goodvibes

Blood pressure up with baby is not good and I can see your last trip definitely doing that! Can't wait to read about it all when you get to it though!

CIMG3981.jpg

Walking down Main Street, we simply followed our usual routine to begin in Fantasyland. Did you expect our last day to be any different? Blake was hoping to ride Dumbo, especially since we weren’t sure where the ride would be when we made it back again. :(

CIMG3992.jpg

CIMG3993.jpg

CIMG3996.jpg

The first stop was, of course, a FP collection. We couldn’t say goodbye without riding Peter Pan’s Flight, even though this ride wasn’t quite the favorite it used to be..

CIMG4000.jpg

Blake was a little impatient when it came to this stop. He likes fastpasses, and understands he gets to “cut the line” when we use them. We were all crazy to dare do anything but ride Dumbo first though!

CIMG4002.jpg

“Are we close to Dumbo yet??”

You’d think he’d know his way around Fantasyland by now! He really studied that map.

CIMG4003.jpg

Turning around to Dumbo, the posted wait was only fifteen minutes. Woo Hoo! We walked through through to almost no line, listening to the boys make their color requests. Blake definitely wanted yellow. They’re the only “real” Dumbos, you know. Andrew hoped for one of us to be in blue. We do remind them that you’re not guaranteed any color here, but we’d try!

CIMG4005.jpg

Soon enough, we were in the waiting area with our group. I made sure to watch for unhappy Dumbos and sadly noted that one of the yellow elephants didn’t seem to be up for flying this morning. The adult and child inside were trying, but it didn’t move up until the end with the others. Sadness. I told Blakers that yellow might not be the best idea.

CIMG4011.jpg

CIMG4013.jpg

As we soared into the air, I watched the yellow Dumbos again. One of them was still stuck. It made me sad for the child inside. I also wondered how this happens so early. All rides have issues, but this was first thing in the morning. I’d think whatever bug Dumbo has could’ve been noticed before the park opened. :( The guests skip away when the ride ends, so I suppose that’s why. Why fix something no one is complaining about..?

CIMG4016.jpg

As Blake held us steady in the sky, I snapped some expansion pictures. It had come a long way since those first pics of our Disney year!

CIMG4018.jpg

CIMG4019.jpg

Fantasyland Crowd! There wasn’t much..

CIMG4021.jpg

CIMG4022.jpg

CIMG4023.jpg

Blake never lasts an entire Dumbo flight and complained his arm was too tired to be the “Dumbo guy” any longer. I took control while he enjoyed the rest of our little ride.

CIMG4024.jpg

CIMG4029.jpg

Poor Yellow Dumbo.. Hope he felt better soon!

Leaving the stroller parked, we decided to take advantage of the short wait for Snow White’s ride. John's tummy didn't care for Dumbo so he went for water, urging us to just go on without him. The boys thought it would be fun to have a “just mommy” ride together, but I wondered how we’d be seated this way. I kinda like snuggling with my honey while they sit in front! I’m glad three in row works out here.

We hopped in the line and slowly moved forward. All of a sudden, a woman rushed up to me. She didn’t seem to speak English, but her urgent message was clear. She needed to cut to join her party! No big deal to us, we simply stepped aside and she moved through the rest. Another woman welcomed her ahead.

We continued to wait. For as empty as the line was, it didn’t move terribly fast. The boys discussed Pooh’s ride for next so we had a nice little chat about it. Our talk was interrupted when yet another woman needed to jump ahead. Okay.. We stepped to the side. Then a child showed up. Then another woman. Another child. This line was getting upset now!

Next, a man smiled at the last group in line and pointed ahead. Hmmm.. I didn’t see it ending well, but they simply called him “rude” and stepped to the side. I didn't say a word! Then comes another one. By the time their turn came, eight people had cut the line to join one waiting woman! Yikes! While I’d read about cutters like this, I’d never seen anything quite like it.

CIMG4034.jpg

Our ride was still fun!

John joined us at the exit and we all moved on to visit Pooh!

CIMG4035.jpg

CIMG4036.jpg

CIMG4044.jpg

“Hooray!”

Our Pooh friends didn’t say “Hooray!” this time. Silly old bear, you were really slacking this Disney year. We were cheated out of that happy hooray so many times! We all agreed that another ride later would definitely be needed!

The boys stayed in control after and lead us on to collect another PPF FP set and use the first on the ride.

CIMG4049.jpg

CIMG4057.jpg

We rode IASW..

CIMG4059.jpg

CIMG4081.jpg

CIMG4088.jpg

my girl!!

and then Mickey’s Philharmagic. With that, our Fantasyland favorites were done. It was fun, if somewhat uneventful. Every now and then, one of us would say how much we’d miss some little detail. For Blake, it was the jewels with Ariel in Mickey’s Philharmagic. He loves trying to catch them, even though he knows it’s not real. Andrew would miss carousel horse numbers and the puff of smoke in Pooh’s ride. He always calls for the rest of us to duck.

Next came the Haunted Mansion, with no objections from Andrew. The new additions here have made that ride so much more appealing to him.

CIMG4103.jpg

Blaker the “piano guy”

CIMG4116.jpg

CIMG4117.jpg

CIMG4120.jpg

CIMG4122.jpg

I love these..

Andrew got excited over Leota at the end, so I set my camera to watch for eyes.. And caught them :) I’m pretty sure this is the only time I’ve ever done that..?

CIMG4128.jpg

We followed our MK routine and decided it was time to move across the park a bit. Andrew and I definitely wanted to fit BTMRR in a couple of times today!

Along the way, we saw some Mickey art!!

CIMG4135.jpg

CIMG4139.jpg

random pic.. Disney has me forever. Just looking at this silly pictures makes me happy and wish I was there right now! :sad1:

While the standby wait wasn’t terribly bad, we decided to simply FP it and ride POTC during that time instead. Why wait in line, right?

CIMG4140.jpg

Blake squeezed in an updated measurement picture, too..

CIMG4141.jpg

He’s not even close!

Despite the smile, little Blaker was annoyed by how far he had to go this day. It made me feel a little better about the year ending. He could get some good growing time in before we made it back. It must be rough to see big brother doing stuff that he can’t sometimes. Blake gets it, and has never fussed over it, but I could see his little face fall when he looked up. Poor little guy..

CIMG4154.jpg

POTC and Blake’s redhead cheered him a bit, and he was back to normal happy Blake after. We noticed children taking seats where the pirate tutorial would be, and decided to join. Why not? The boys think it’s fun and it was nearly time. Andy-Roo and Blakers found spots on the ground to wait for what would be the best pirate tutorial we’ve ever seen! ;)

I cannot stand line cutters. I mean seriously, one person holding the line for 10 people is just ridiculous. It never ends well.

Blake is getting so close! It's like, so close and yet so far from 40". I hope that he's grown a bit. That will be so exciting for him when he can get on his first 40" attraction.
