I’m not sure. I know most major cities have them, but since we’re from NY I feel like maybe that’s why we have quite a few. Locally, we have tons and I’ve been too quite a few of them. None stack up to HHN but several are really good or have won state wide awards. Not sure about Arkansas, but I’m not sure Samantha was too interested in them in the past. But HHN won her over! She’s made a few for her son’s school, but she’d never been through one she hadn’t made.
There’s a local one where they can touch you, but I don’t really like that. We went once, and I much prefer the ones where they can’t.HHN is amazing! If you like local haunts HHN is even more immersive, super detailed, and they have licensing to do IP properties in a way local haunts usually can’t.
I also felt similar about Anarcade. HHN is soooo much fun and your RPR view is amazing
Yeah I definitely don't like the ones when they can touch you! haha I will have to get to HHN at some point, hopefully they bring back the Stranger Things house!
If that's not spooky enough HHN day for us this year was also Friday the 13th, the blood moon, the 50th anniversary of Scooby Doo, and the 15th anniversary of Supernatural!

"I mean c'mon don't you think you're a little too old for Disney?"
Why on earth would that guy say that knowing full well you like Disney? People confuse me.Why on earth would that guy say that knowing full well you like Disney? People confuse me.
I like to think as a driver in the Orlando area where most people you pick up are going to theme parks you wouldn't say anything like that unless the passenger brought up not liking the parks first.Although I may never go to HHN, I enjoy your trip reports, especially your Supernatural references (just started watching with my teenager who made me buy him a jacket and necklace so he can be Dean for Halloween).
I love it! I started watching 10 years ago, but I'm currently doing my first full rewatch since I started (I got into it while the 5th season was airing and binged everything up till then). It really hit me when they announced the last season that it's actually ending, (I guess after it being on for so long it seems kind of unbelievable that it's actually ending). And I felt like by watching them weekly I didn't remember so much of what happened post season 5. (At the time I remember feeling like a lot of the storylines after that were a bit of a letdown, and maybe that's why. But rewatching it I've only found an episode here or there I didn't like). I'm just finishing season 8 now.
I love these!!! They remind me of the cups you used to be able to get at McDonalds!I also grabbed the Klownzilla tee, and the Killer Klown's glass on the way out. (You'll see the shirt in an upcoming post, but here's a picture of the 2 glasses I ended up with below).
