I've got a pretty good sense of humor, contrary to what you're trying to beat around the bush and say.

I juts don't think that " mom can I have some money for mono" is funny. which....it isn't.

Now, I think the toys would be great for a bio teacher, or a nurse. some of them are every cute (common cold/mad cow disease) but, making fun of them isn't cool.
