I LOVE dress # 2... as far as the shoes, I'm a little biased (shoe #2 are the shoes I purchased for my wedding!!!) I must say, they are surprisingly comfortable (granted, I haven't had my wedding yet, but I have been wearing them around the house for hours to make sure they get broken in ) If you decide to go with shoes from David's, they can dye them (usually in house) for a very small fee (I paid $4 to get mine done). I was considering putting some crystals on the heels of mine, but I just realized I didn't have the time, money, or patience to deal with all that.

First off Congrats and Welcome!!! I'm looking forward to following along. Second, extend a big heart felt thank you to your DF I come from a long line of Jar Heads and my BFF hubby is in the Army I know how hard deployments can be but also how rewarding military life can also be! Thrid, Dress 1 with shoe 3 in fuschia!

I may be the only one, but I pick dress #1. It is simple yes, but elegant and it really puts the focus on you. I would say try them both on and then you will 100% know which one you love...in the end that is all that matters.

It is funny that I would choose a David's dress because I normally LOOOVE Maggie dresses. The Maggie dress for me just doesn't say wedding. It is beautiful don't get me wrong. I just see it more for a bridal tea. I think I would like it more if it didn't have the stripes on the bottom.

Sorry I've been a bit M.I.A. Thigs got crazy bussy with the end of the semester. I had finals last week and this week. But school is not the only reason I've been gone...

DF IS HOME!!!! He got home last night. His bus pulled into the barracks 15mins before I got there But I'm just glad he is home now. I should be back later this week with an actual update since my friend and I are going dress shopping on the 18th. I hope everyone has a great weekend... I know I will.

I know how school is... it's been stressing me out a lot, and my semester doesn't end until June 11th

But CONGRATULATIONS!! on having DF home! I am sure you are so, so happy abou that!

This is sooo adorable, congratulations!! Everything is beautiful, and I love how the moment of the proposal was captured on camera The Animal Kingdom Lodge looks like such a cool place, I'm really hoping to get to stay there someday... or at least go to one of the restaurants! Gorgeous pictures of the giraffes and animals.

And that card signed by the cast members is really cool, what a fun souvenir and way to remember this very special day

First of all, it is definitely good news that you will have a real Disney wedding! I'm sure it will be worth waiting for, so congratulations! It will also give you plenty of time to plan and get everything ready. Sometimes the little touches are what really makes a wedding, and with so much time you should be able to add some of those if you so choose If I were you I would still keep this PJ around - you might not be updating that often, but if you do have any ideas you can come back and post! Also, once you're a bit closer than it will still be here for you

I know in the back of your mind that you're disappointed, and that's okay. It's going to be so awesome to plan a Disney wedding, and lots of us started planning very early. We were looking at sites before November 2009 and weren't even engaged until a year later--which was still 2 years away from our wedding!! It'll be nice that you'll be out of school, and although it's tough to swallow right now, it'll be great--I promise!!

I don't think you need to shut down the PJ... let it be part of your journey! Continue to brainstorm, etc, so that 2 years from now if a new disbride is in your shoes, they can see that someone has been where they are currently.
