Delayed upgrade in WDW annual pass.

We purchased a 8 day park hopper pass in Feb for WDW. Well it turns out we are going to DL in November due to dh having a conference there. If I purchase a 5 days DL park hopper pass it works out to the same combined price as a WDW annual pass. So here is the question. Can or should I up grade to a WDW annual pass even though we went months ago? I know that a WDW pass can be used in DL but not vise versa. I am unsure if I can upgrade so late in the game and how do I do that if I am still able to?

Can I upgrade my ticket to a longer ticket or an Annual Pass?" Yes you can as long as it is a Magic Your Way ticket and you do the upgrade within 14 days of first use or a completely unused older ticket.
