That's correct. One of the interesting things about the data is how well rides with built-in fault tolerance perform:
- Soarin' has 3 theaters that run largely independently - down 2% at rope drop.
- Flight of Passage has multiple ride systems - down 2% at rope drop
- Toy Story Mania has 3 ride tracks - down 4%
Ugh! Then we recently got rather unlucky. The CM's did not inform us that TSM was down when we scanned our LL, but it was. We were held for a solid 15 minutes just inside the building, then we were moved towards one of the tracks, but had to wait another almost 10minutes until they got that track running. Had I been informed, I would have done something else first.
Another day in 2025, we arrived at MK about 8:50. Since it was the end of EE, we decided to wait for Jungle Cruise opening at 9am. It was down. At that point, we probably should have checked
MDE, but decided to just walk over to Pirates. Not normally where I would go in the morning, but we only had a few hours in the park that day. Pirates was down. Third, we walked to Tiana's. Tiana's was ALSO down! At all 3, CM said they didn't know when the rides would open.
After that, I checked the app. We headed to HM, which was still walk-on. Fantasyland and Tomorrowland attractions all had solid waits by then.
EE was really rather a bust!
I am slightly inclined to think that with all we pay these days to be in MK, when that many rides are down, WDW should offer some sort of little bit of compensation to guests, like a free snack or at least a handful of stickers or some other gesture of good will.
