Has anyone stayed there recently that can tell me what the continental breakfast consisted of? We are planning a last minute trip, and our hotel choices right now are HoJo's, Del Sol, or Majestic Garden. Del Sol is the only one with a breakfast, but the other two are cheaper.

Stayed there for 8 nts in October. We went into the breakfast room once. Your very basic continental breakfast. Cereal, pastries, some fruit. I'm really not sure what else. If you like that stuff, its fine, but I wouldn't pick the hotel for the breakfast. We brought some bars with us, and ate those for breakfast. But do consider it for location. It's a shorter walk than Hojos, and I don't know where Majestic Garden is, Ive never heard of that one. We really like the shortest walk possible. We like to be there before the park opens, go back to hotel for a mid day break and close out the park. That last walk at the end of the night is brutal. At least it is for us as we are there usually for pretty long trips.

I'm amazed HoJo is cheaper than the Del Sol. HoJo's really is a nicer property than the Del Sol. I guess I would have to know the price difference before I would say which one I would pick. How many nights are you staying for? Del Sol has a discount % the more nights you stay.

Majestic Garden is the old "Sheraton Anaheim" on Ball road - and does have dedicated shuttle service if that's important to you at all.
If walking distance is better I would pick Hojo's honestly hands down. Del Sol isn't bad for what it is but the fact others are cheaper I would pass.

I know breakfast is convenient for many families but often you are paying a premium for it without it being much overall. I would look at the overall value of the property over one available amenity.
Easy to pack breakfast items can be bought locally or packed are granola bars , cereal bars , muffins or there are options on the way also.

The continental breakfast is donuts, boiled eggs, cereal (fruit loops), apples, oranges and bread/waffles for toast. I only ate the apples. Breakfast room is tiny. The hotel is older, with older furnishings. I would stay at the Howard Johnson if it is cheaper than Del Sol.
