Deja Vu! - Really weird!

I have deja vu tings all the time. Theyt don't usually freak me out. I consider them the good news that mybraini is still faorly functional!

EMH is extra magic hours at WDW.

I cn c tat ur brin is wrkng oookeeday!

And my previous statement still stands, I believe in EMH and not ESP!!pirate:

It really freaked me out when it happened but everythings back to normal..........if everything was normal to begin with :lmao:

I've read alot of posts here and elsewhere and many people say that they mostly had it in their teens. Strange but oh well.

PLEASE tell us the scientific proof of ESP! I'll even SPLIT the Randi $1,000,000 prize with all of you if we can win it!

I know Wikipedia can be "unreliable" but read through that and I can back him up because I have taken his course and have experienced it.

And Deja moo? Is this turning into a joke thread? Sorry if you are being serious but seriously!

I also looked up Deja Vu seen as that is the topic of this thread.

I think people are just trying to have a little fun. It's not like they're trying to turn it into a joke thread or make fun of you.

Oh ok, I thought you had to be fairly serious on these boards and be careful of what you post. I got that impression the minute I joined. How strict is it here?

I get deja vu a lot. And my teens are a vague memory. :p I know logically that it has something to do with my memory, but the emotional side of me thinks it means I have had a lot of past lives. :p Either way, its pretty cool and pretty creepy at the same time.

rofl! not quite.... it's when you're sure you've experienced the same BS before

Wait, it should start to sound familer again, now what do that call that.....

I remember watching a show that said if you focused and chanted a certain phrase, it helped, but you had to say it out loud!

The phrase was: Oooo Waaaa, Taaaaa Goooooo, SIAM!

say it over and over while focusing on the sound!!

I've had the deja vu feeling many, many times. A few years ago, DH and I were driving into work (he was driving, I was in the passenger seat) and I remember that I had this horrible headache. I remember looking at this semi-truck in front of us and experiencing that deja vu feeling where your stomach drops. Then I felt really tired so I laid my head back on the seat and closed my eyes. Next thing I remember is my DH yelling my name and asking if i'm ok. I guess I had a seizure. Never had one before! So after going to the ER and them finding nothing, they referred me to a neurologist. This guy was a kook! He didn't seem to understand the deja vu stuff I had felt before the seizure. And he kept pronouncing it as deja vwaa. Drove me NUTS. And then he was all about getting me onto some pretty heavy duty seizure medication...for one seizure...i'd never had them before and have not had one since. The doctors weren't convinced that I had even had a seizure to begin with. I put my foot down and told him that I would not be filling that prescription. If I had another seizure, I would be the first in line at the pharmacy.

So now, when I get the deja vu feeling, I get freaked out! Doesn't happen often, but it still happens every now and then! I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one who experiences these!! Anyone else I talk to about it has no idea what i'm talking about!

I've had them. From what I've read about them, they're reminders that you are on the right path in life. Basically, it's your soul telling you that you are right on target in your life's mission.

I know, that's going to sound totally bizarro to those who don't believe in such things, but those who have studied theories of the afterlife will know exactly what I'm talking about.

I have epilepsy. For me, Deja vu is a simple partial seizure - it is a very real warning (or aura) that I am about to have a complex partial seizure.

There is no such thing as time.
Experience is only linear because that's how our brains organize it.
I believe that de ja vu is memory.
What the bleep do we know.
Ha ha ha I crack myself up.
