I am sure some of you remember the attempted theft of my Dodge Ram truck 2 years ago.....it was the Thursday before our canoeing trip up north.
Well, 2 years later......and the THURSDAY before our annual canoeing trip....they (somebody) attempted it again!!! This time, instead of at my work parking lot in the middle of the day, it was right in front of my house between 3am-5am!!!! We normally can't park in the street in my neighborhood but just had a sidewald repair program done and we HAD to park in the street.
They didn't get far with the truck since I have a "kill switch" thingy on it...it will start (after they tore apart the ignition) with a screwdriver for about 10 seconds.......the PD says they just really want the tires/rims on my model...they are really cool...I guess a little too cool!!!! But I love my truck!!!
The tow truck just came and got it today....
I just think it is so ironic to happen the day before our same canoe trip 2 years ago!!!! Isn't that weird????
AND.....thank you all again for all the key chains....that were stolen the first time this happened!!!......My keys, this time were not in it....PLUS......I keep my "collection" in a nice basket in the house now!!!!
I just can't believe people would steal...or try to steal like this......and I am sure it is a bunch of kids........
Kinda wish they would have gotten it.....I really really need new tires!!!!!....and they are probably 250/pc!!!
