Aside from being father's day this started as a typical Sunday. DD (3 1/2) came scampering into our room at daybreak (really more like 7am). We all snuggled for awhile and then got up. I made breakfast for DH and DD and then left for the gym. I got to the strip mall and parked near the deli so I could get the paper after my workout. Anyway, I went and did my thing, got the paper and went to my car. NO KEYS!!!! I checked my gym bag and backtracked to where I'd been and still no keys. DH had gotten a new alarm system for my car and it automatically locks the doors after a few seconds so I couldn't check if they were in there. DH and DD were outside and didn't hear the phone when I called for them to bring the other set of keys. Luckily we're only 1 1/2 miles from my gym so I walked home. After a shower DD and I walked back up to my car and what do you know the keys were there between and seats.:) They must have fallen out of my bag as I was getting out of the car and I hadn't noticed.

I have done that before. My car does not have an alarm, and at the time, I did not have a spare key. So, I was about to leave for work when I realize my keys are missing. After turning our house upside down, I assumed they had to be in the car somewhere, and called pop-a-lock. They were there, thank goodness, under the drivers seat. Don't ask how they got there, I don't know. I will never ever ever go through this again. I got two spares made after that, one I keep in the kitchen drawer, the other stays in my purse, just in case.

Now I need to make sure I don't lock my purse and keys in the car when I am far from home!

I was running to get a gift for someone at starbucks, I got out of the car shut the door then turned around and realized the keys were still in it. My mom had to come bring her spare key. I don't even like starbucks, except for the muppet finger puppets!

I was at WDW last weekend staying at OKW. I left my wallet in the end table drawer. They don't know where it went. I remembered the morning after I was already home.

I hate when I do that. You got a good workout today walking 3 miles :)

Yes I have locked my keys in my car on a couple of occasions. Unforunately each of those times I also had a baby in the car. Ds #1 and ds #4 were lucky ones to get locked in.
