EEEEKKKKK!!!! I love them both! Their differences are what make each experience special! This trip is 4 nights at Disney's Pop and 4 nights at Royal Pacific. I am going to judge them both on everything and see who comes up higher on my list!
One reason that I have favored disney over Universal is b/c of we can't afford to stay on site with a family of six. I like being in the whole atmosphere of the disney resort. We alway go during value season, so long lines haven't been an issue for us. I would love to go to US/IA but don't have a clue where to stay near the parks that would be nice and affordable with four kids. So, if anyone has advice I would love to hear it!

I am in GA too, and it's not advertised but GA can get the Florida resident rate, just tell them when you call. During off season the Royal Pacific is $129.00. We usually rent a villa, but I remember someone getting a great deal on the Peabody which is close by. To me it looks like the ones that are accross the street are just average, but they are really cheap during off season. Check this thread out especially the links from Robvia.
