Am I the only one who doesn't see the appeal of Deevy See? I find this woman obnoxious and not even funny. I think the Walt Disney Company and Disney Vacation Club are a higher caliber of companies, and I can't figure out why they use this character for DVC.

Anyone? :confused3

I think many feel the same way. I'm a little more indiferent than hate..

I think Deevy See is a (poorly executed?) attempt to generate or maintain some Internet buzz while appealing to or attacking heavy Internet posters..

If done correctly, off-beat can be a great thing, but even some of the better ones fail. Yesterday, I was reading about Burger King strugles, and it seems that "King" is now backfiring in ways it had suceeded..

Yes, you are the only one. Everybody else just loves her! ;)

I'll take it that you missed the trainwreck of a holiday broadcast from BLT. That production looked like a really really bad community access show.

Regarding Deevy, the kids and I have watched all of the "shows". It is what it is. While we don't think its great, its not terrible either. For us, its nice to see WDW/DVC related content.

Nope! I'm not a fan. One Welcome Home Wednesday was more than enough for me. I'm guessing you just received the email about the Treehouse Villas. Disney spent a lot of time and trouble to show a five minute clip that actually showed the villas for a few seconds. I would have liked to see all the rooms. Instead she commented on the beautiful kitchen, mentioned the lovely laundry room which was not shown, the deck, and that was about it. I would have liked to see the bathrooms and other bedrooms. She is obboxious and not funny at all. What a waste.

She's campy to the max. If you don't like her, don't watch her. As long as our dues aren't charged we really don't have basis for complaint. DVC Marketing can pretty much do as they please.

You are not alone.

When they replaced Crissa on the top 7 attractions with in-your-face Stacy, I lost all my faith in Disney marketing.

Crissa would have been a perfect spokesperson for DVC, IMHO.

You're not the only one. I couldn't even make it through the first episode before switching it off. I don't even open those emails anymore.

I just got my email...nothing irritates me more than her representing DVC...I feel like we pay a nice premium for membership and she portrays DVC as TACKY TACKY TACKY

I think Deevee See is great! Had it not been for her being there in person, the Doorway to Dreams presentation on L.I. last summer would have been a snooze fest!

I have TRIED to watch a couple of them, but the gag factor was so great, I had to delete it. UGH...Do they really think we are going to swallow that???

We once got sucked into a timeshare presentation after filling out a form to win a free car (never again!). They put us into a room which was like an airplane cabin for the first presentation. After that was a sales meeting with a young man. When we said no we were taken to the sales manager with bad BO and a greasy rug (wig) on his head. My wife faked being sick and we got out of there.

What a great place for Deevee to go work! She doesn't belong at Disney.

She's about as creepy as the "King" in the BK ads.

Don't forget that she took the time to point out all her "junk in her trunk" too. That was impressive.

PS. I have never really liked the Dee Vee See theme/scheme, but sometimes, it's so off the wall, you just have to shake your head and laugh. I mean, who sits in a cubicle and thinks of these things?

Deevy See does get your attention and everyone is "talking" about her new video. Isn't that the point of internet videos?

I am still surprised that Deevy See would be chosen to represent the DVC as she is not very Disney like. But other that she doesn't bother me one way or the other. Sometimes she's funny other times the routine goes flat. I would imagine that families with children would find her to be LOL fun. And isn't it families that the DVC wants to attract as new members?

I didn't even open the e-mail when I saw what it was. I do not have a sophisticated sense of humor. I love Steve Martin, for instance. But Deevy Cee is just stupid.

I really feel better. I thought it was just me. I tried to watch but I couldn't take it. She's like finger nails on a blackboard.
