My husband said on our next trip either March or June, he wants to do other things along with disney. He said he read somewhere about tours to deep sea fish and air boat ride at the Everglades. Does anyone know where I can get more information about the tours that are offered in the area.

We did half a days deep sea fishing last year from John's Pass which is between St Pete's Beach and Clearwater. The boat was quite busy but a few fish were caught. You can get the fish you caught cooked at the restaurant next door once back on dry land for a small charge. It was an enjoyable way to spend a morning.

Hopefully the above link will help as they are the company we went with, I am sure there are others but I don't recall their names.

Have a great time.

I can highly recommend "Old Fashioned Airboat Rides" in Christmas, Florida. It is about 45 minues from WDW and your trip is on the St. John's River near Cocoa Beach (we combine this with a trip to the beach there and a visit to Ron Jon's).

"Captain John" is the best. You see TONS of aligators and you're on a small airboat, so it might be just your group or your group with a couple of other folks. The cost is about $35 per person for a 2-3 hr tour.

Well worth it! We had such fun the first time, we went again the following year.

You should be able to get all the info on www.airboatrides.com.

Have a great time!
