Nothing like living in the coldest place on Earth (at least for today) to make one long even more for a trip to Disney! i wish I could fly out tomorrow-winter has been harsh and it's just started.

I feel your pain. I have to fly in there tomorrow and I'm still trying to figure out how to cram more sweaters and heavy socks into my carry on. But it's a 'dry cold'....

Hi. My DD is in her first year at U of A, called us last night it was - 32. Says it is good for studying as no one wants to go outside! She was spoiled growing up in Mississauga we have such mild weather here. At least there is a tunnel from rez to the dinning hall.

It has been pretty cold. Yesterday I couldn't believe the amount of people not dressed appropriately. I was in layers and actually got too warm at one point lol.

It was soooo cold yesterday, the temperature has just started to drop again today so I'm glad I went shopping this morning!!

I went from a warm 25 degrees in Orlando to minus 5 and snow in 3 hours. Talk about depressing. I have a degenerative disc in my back and from the moment I landed till the time we left I felt great. by the end of the car ride home I could barely move. Cold weather is bad for us. we need to all move south.

-43 Celsius with the wind chill (-45 f). My car had a hard time starting even plugged in lol. I can't wait until Jan to hit some warm weather in Orlando.

Figures the one year I don't book a Christmas escape to Disney we get a cold one.I am fighting off pneumonia right now.
I am counting down to March Break.
Maybe it's time to head to Canadian tire and pick up some of those little pocket hand warmers.
