We reserved a 2BR at SSR for our upcoming trip, and recently realized that the second BR might have either 2 queens or a queen and sleep sofa, depending on whether it's a lock off or dedicated unit. Since we wanted 2 beds (and not the sleeper), I sent an email with our preference, and this is the response I got from MS:
"You are confirmed for a dedicated two bedroom. Just so you are aware on future reservations, dedicated versus lock-off is not a preference but a category and must be booked as either a
dedicated or a lock-off. If dedicated had not been available, the only way to change it is through the waitlist."
Since this is our first trip since becoming DVC members, we did not know this (and we weren't asked whenI made the reservation either). Thought this info might be helpful to others.
