I have a reserved stay at a dedicated 2 bedroom near the hospitality house in a few weeks at OKW. How does this differ from a regular one bedroom and studio?

Also, in the second bedroom is there the small kitchen (Fridge and Micro) area? Does it contain the normal paper products on this side?

thanks for all of the info

I have not stayed at OKW. We are there in a few weeks though. We have stayed in dedicated at SSR and there is no kitchen in the 2nd br. At BWV they only have lockoffs so the 2nd bedroom is the studio so there is a fridge and sink, coffee pot area. I am sure that OKW 2nd br in a dedicated does not have this.

The dedicated 2BR will have only one exterior entrance to the villa. The 2nd BR will not have the kitchenette - it has more storage space - and it will not have a balcony off the 2nd BR. Since there is no mini-kitchen there will not be paper dishware products, but the unit will have dishware/glassware for eight (same as the 1BR lock-offs).

The second bedroom in the dedicated two bedroom will have a huge closet where the entrance would have been. Where the kitchenette would have been, you'll have a second bathroom sink area. And no porch for the second bedroom. You'll only get the big one off the master bedroom and living room.

If you wanted the kitchenette, balcony and extra entrance door in the 2nd bedroom, then call MS and see if a lock-off is available.

Can anyone tell me if there is an interior door that separates the studio portion from the 1 bedroom? We are travelling with another family and I'm starting to think that a lockoff would be easier for privacy issues.

Yes, there is a door that separates the one bedroom from the studio. In the one bedroom its just past the front door sort of between the kitchen and living room. On the other side, in the studio, the door is right near where the table and chairs are, near the door out to the small balcony. They are basically two, completely separate units.

You would actually have more privacy in the lock off. You could close and lock that connecting door and never have to see each other! In the dedicated, the family staying in the second bedroom will have to walk through the living room area to get outside.

I think there are advantages to each set up. Its nice to have the separate mini kitchen and extra balcony. That way each family can separately warm u a leftover or relax on their own balcony. But in the dedicated, having the extra sink and larger closet is nice too.

Keep in mind though with a lock-off, while there will be two separate entrances and the interior door can be locked from both sides, - all of the room keys will open both entrance doors. If you truly want a 1BR and a Studio for privacy reasons, it might be wiser to have 2 separate reservations. It is a few more points, but there will be more privacy, separate key access and each family can have their own credit card applied to the room.
