Decorating your resort room?

Last year I had LGMHs all over my window at POR. Well this year I upped the ante and printed a large LGMH on a magnet and put it on my door at POFQ. Unfortunately after about 4 days it went missing. And no-one at the resort would offer an explanation or admit that they took it.

I guess perhaps someone could have stolen it. But why would anyone want my Disname on a magnet ???

I believe it would have been much more likely to be another guest then an employee, and for the same reason that most thieves do what they do, because they like to and want to. Why do you find it so hard to believe that some guest just walking by wouldnt do it?

Mousekeeping did the towels. We also had a big huge Mickey Head on our bed one day.

Fairygodmother, where did you get the window clings? I live a real little town and don't have much to choose from. Our closed hobby lobby is 2 1/2hrs and the closest Walmart is 1hr away. I really want some clings but have yet to find any. Of course I am going to make some.

I made most of the window clings except for the smaller princesses which I bought at Dollar Tree. I used window cling paper that I bought at Michael's Craft Store but can also be bought online and in other stores. You could just print out the pictures and tape them up. It would probably be less of a hassle. I actually had to print out the pictures and tape them behind the window clings because the clings were too transparent. You can tell with the smaller princess window clings. I bought the door cover online and the stickers on the door cover are wall clings I bought at Big Lots.

We just returned from Disney. These are pictures of our door and window at Pop Century.

Great window decor were did you get the "Diser"sign wih your name?,printed off the web site?. Dumb question how did you get the poster to stay on your door.

FairyGodmother, I love the window and door. We are going in December and staying at the Cabins in Ft. Wilderness. Can't wait to decorate and show pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I got most of my pictures here on Disboards and some are Disney Clipart. I did the text on some of the pictures. I downloaded the Waltograph font and used that on the Cinderella picture on the right (hard to see the text), and on my Disboards sign. I just used Scotch Tape on everything except the window clings. I even used it on the door cover. Eveything stayed even with the wind, humidity and condensation inside the windows. I had no problem taking them down either.

It's sad that somebody would be that bent over some window decor. I can't for the life of me think of why that would be so upsetting to a person. I guess you can't please everyone.

I thought Disney was HOME and I sure like decorations at home ?? I personally don't care if others don'tlike it I will still do it cuz I like it! If you don't want to then dont I am not knocking you for being snooty don't knock me for being a kid at heart ( I'm 61 )!!!!!!!

Thanks, and it's the same with me. It usually takes a lot for me to step into drama since I really hate conflict. Weird to find comments like that here of all places, but oh well. It takes all kinds I guess?

were taking our first trip in may, staying at asmo, and plan on decorating our window and door as well! i have to agree with everyone. i cannot wait until then. i've already started buying decorations and also have bought items to sit on the windowsill as well! we love decorating at home so it will be even more fun decorating at dw! by the way im an amanda too! lol!

I was just in Toys R Us and they had some Princess and Tink window clings. They were really nice jell clings.
