Decorating your resort room?

Everyone's windows look great!! Going next Halloween so that gives me lots of planning time Anyone know how strict the contemporary is about decorating the outside of your door?

Yup, and I feel weird and sort of like I'm stealing them. lol But they are samples and they are free. I would just put them in your purse or jacket pockets though. I wouldnt walk around with them in your hands. Granted, I grabbed about 30-40. Dh just walked away like he didn't know me. lol They didn't have any red available so I have to go back.

Last year I had LGMHs all over my window at POR. Well this year I upped the ante and printed a large LGMH on a magnet and put it on my door at POFQ. Unfortunately after about 4 days it went missing. And no-one at the resort would offer an explanation or admit that they took it.

I guess perhaps someone could have stolen it. But why would anyone want my Disname on a magnet ???

We were at the Contemporary in Sept. 08 and absolutely no one on our floor had the rooms decorated.

When I put mine out, DH said he was embarassed and made me take it down right away so I don't know how strict they are since no one but me ever got to see it.
I never even got to take a picture.

We were in the garden wing, garden view.

Ok thanks. I was worried about that since you never really hear about anyone's outside doors being decorated there. I'll do our window though

Are all the doors in Disney the metal? We're thinking of staying at Wilderness Lodge and it might be fun to do the magnets on the door.

I amleaning towards a Patriotic window for May I wanted to do English Rose theme but haven't found anything so am sure I will find stuff for Memorial Day !! I have some red and blue stars and MHs so just need red or blue lights and a Flad or 2 and I am all set!! Now Sept is another story!!!

Oh my I am so sorry,embaressed??.Your at Disney,Its what makes it so fun,honestly you can not go and do that at any other resort .Thats why we go there,DH should of reliazed that. Now I am a Dad,I take my DS every year and we hold nothing back, tell the DH losen up even at the contemporay.

I have stayed at BC & BW and decorated. Used magnets on the door. No-one said or did anything.

This may have already been posted somewhere, but Walgreens has a bunch of really cute Disney Christmas window clings!
They have Tinkerbell with snowflakes, Princesses in their Christmas dresses, Mickey and the gang, and several different Pooh themed ones.
Sooooo cute! And printed on both sides of the cling so they show up great on both sides of the window!!

Thanks for the suggestion! Now if only we had a Walgreens where I live They're building one about 22 miles away but won't be finished in time for Christmas - darn!

Our Dollar Tree had window clings (I bought some) but no Disney ones last week! I'll look at another one...

Love all the photos! I am decorating for our pre-Christmas trip, although we won't be in the room that much.
