Decorating your resort room?

Love the erase board idea. I found some generic window halloween clings at dollar tree today. Also some fall leaf garland.

We just got back and stayed at Pop. Befor we left everyone had to pick items to put into window that would represent themselves.
We used suction cup hooks to hang Ohio State Sign & green clover for St. Patty's Day. On our ledge we had, LOTR figures, Star wars figures, My son's dance shoes, Steelers, Stuffed Mickey, and as we collected small things we placed them there. We also bought a magnetic dry erase board for the door. I would suggest spending more than a dollar on this like we did because the marker was not that great by day 3. Also make sure there is a way to connect the marker to the board. It was fun to write things about our Mousekeeper! Then she would respond! And we got lots of great comments left about our window.

We had a dry-erase board on our door last year and it was fun to read all the comments people left! Looking forward to decorating our window/door in a couple of weeks!:yay: Welcome back and glad you had a good trip!:wizard:

Hey, here is a picture of our window last November! I thought it turned out cute for our first time!!

where did u find the font that you used in the signs on your windows with the names I've been searching high and low for it.

Wonderful! What building were you in? We were in Building 6 in the 70's (the Mickey Phone bldg) facing the lake. I didn't see any windows decorated other than ours either. A few people in our row had their towel animals or other things on the sill but nothing really in the window. I wish I had seen yours!

We were in the 80s - Building 9, kind of facing towards Classic Hall. I saw lots of towel animals too and a pirate flag in a window over by the computer pool, but that was it. Would have loved to have gotten a glimpse of yours!

I decorated for the fun, but I'm notorious for "losing" my room - wanted it for the id purpose more than anything! Ended up being the first room past the vending/ice machines so it was super easy to find!

run run run to Dollar Tree today if you are looking for Christmas themed suction cup hooks. :santa:

They come 2 to a package. We picked up the pkg with a snowman and green holiday stocking.

For anyone wanting to decorate their window for Halloween, I found a really cute gel window cling set and Wal-Mart that says Boo To You. I thought it was fun, since it would be keeping with the theme of the MNSSHP parade. They had a Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween one, too. They also had a very cute Tinkerbell Halloween shirt that lights up.

Where in the store did you find the Tink Halloween shirt? I was at my local Walmart and didn't find any adult shirts. Thanks!

I'm not TWyn but saw the light-up shirts in the juniors section. They were in an allover black pattern and an allover gray pattern.

Thanks to both of you for your response! I will go back and check. The only tink shirt I saw was a pajama top--black and purple with Tink spreading pixie dust.

I'm sorry I haven't responded before now. The last few days have been a bit crazy. :) I did find mine in the Junior's dept. I got the all over black one with Tinkerbell on it. There's a spider web at the bottom that lights up. I hope you can find one. :)

I was wondering how you put the mini lights up? I am trying to avoiding using tape (unless it's scotch tape) or tacs.

I have seen a personalized window cling design on here that was so cute! I have graphics to use and can design them....but am curious because I've never seen a way to print these out on a lazer printer.

Am I missing something? How did you all do that?

DD8 and I leave on Friday and are working on door designs now....WE CANNOT WAIT!

Will have to get over to read your TR.
